What is Different in The Nightmare Before Christmas Workprint?

Earlier this week I talked about Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Afterwards I got my hands on the workprint version and it has some interesting differences. Watch and see the changes I found!

7:49 Oh yeah, on the documentary Netflix series called "How Movies are Made." That Apparently when they show storyboards the ending to Tim Burton and he was very upset, this is a Scooby-Doo reference and he kicked the drywall with his own steel toe boots.

I believe all the vocals in the workprint are done by Danny Elfman himself, so he's basically improvising different voices and they clearly aren't fully defined characterizations.

Another animated film with a workprint version is "The Thief and the Cobbler". Also, there's a workprint of the Jim Carrey film "The Mask" somewhere out there, if you can find it online, that'd make a good episode.

8:00 The ending in the released version was the first version. Some alternate endings were suggested but Tim Burton said no.

Boogie throwing up bugs would gave been cool. The songs changed around makes sense. I didnt really see anything on KZfaq about the work print. Great video about the main differences. Good stuff

There are also roughly two sections cut from Oogie Boogie's Song, a deleted verse that's on the soundtrack, and, I think, a bit where Oogie's shadow dances during an interlude in the song. I remember them in the DVD extras.

I dont really care for the musical aspects of it, but the stop motion animation, production and character designs deserve all the praise they get.
