A little notice : the MAINTENER keyword is deprecated, use it for old versions of Docker, use instead LABEL. Please note the build command will work with MAINTENER (with latest version from now (2019/05/10)), it was not critical.

At 04:40 well explained the difference between RUN and CMD - but CMD appears anyway (but not executed) at 07:15 and is finally executed as expected at 08:05 BTW at 07:55 failed because you forgot to add the tag - it should "myImage1:1.0" - there is no "latest" Really huge thanks for this playlist - a cold beer for you!

By default Docker searches for tag "latest", this case he changed it so you have to specify. If you look closer at the error message he got, after docker run myimage1 it was looking for myimage1:latest rather than myimage1:1.0

Nice video! Just an FYI, the "!" in vim means to override.. so if you are quitting a changed file but you do NOT want to WRITE you have to force quit with "q!". So, if you have just written the file you do not need to override that since there are no changes. In short, I am telling you that you used the "!" unnecessarily and you could have just used "wq". Your use of it makes it appear as though you do no know what the explanation is for. And for some of us that might lead us to doubt your skill-set. As you clearly know what you are talking about, I would not worry about that. (:
