My dream job! I fear not being able to find a spot for myself. I’m only in highschool, and most people around me tell me that it’s hard to find a job in environmental science, but I’ll keep dreaming!

There will be jobs for sure! :) Especially when more people around the world are getting into Environmental science now. Plus, there are lots of branch of Environmental Science to choose from. (e.g. I am in Ecotoxicology and Ecosystem restoration.) Keep working towards your dream!

Same the ones around me keep on asking me and doubting me and my dream job of restoration biology but i am sure that i will achieve everything in my life that i dream now and im just 14 haha

You might be able to get into landscaping using local species, helping people create habitats on their properties. I think there's a growing interest in these things.

This is what I want to do with my life. I don't want to plant a grove of monoculture trees, I don't want to just specialize in plant species, or just protect ecosystems - I want to help rebuild them! Where has "ecological restoration" been all my life? I searched google, youtube, and other search engines. None of them even mentioned this position. I found it in a random youtube comment of all things! (I'll have to tell that commenter that they've changed my life by mentioning it lol).
