اسلام علیکم ورحمتہ اللہ وبرکاتہ سرکاری ملازمین کی تنخواہوں میں الریڈی ٹیکس کٹوتی ھوتی ھے اور 50000 سے اوپر رقم نکلوانے پر دوبارہ ٹیکس کاٹ جاتا ہے بینک والے کہتے ہیں آپ فائلر نہیں ہے اور ھماری تمام پیسلپ بینک جاتی ہیں اسکے باوجود ٹیکس کاٹا جاتاہے حکومت ڈبل گیم کھیلتی ہیں تو گزارش ہے کہ گورنمنٹ ٹیکس دینے والوں کو auto پر فائلر کرے یا بینک والوں حکم جاری کریں کہ سیلری والے افراد کی ٹیکس نہ کاٹے کیونکہ وہ ٹیکس پہلے دے چکے ہے شکریہ

Please answer following two points: 1. A person was paying tax on his salary but after retirement stopped paying tax as he has no other income except pension. 2. Is pension taxable and is old age person above 60 years also have to put up tax return when only living onoension and depending on his children to meet his further expenses.

Pension is exempted from tax. It's your choice to file an annual return at that age. If you purchase or sell properties or taxable assets, if you are a filer you will get some tax benefits.

A filer is charged less tax compared to nonfiler. In case of losses, if a person is filer for some years then government compensates for their losses. Only filers can have foreign currency bank accounts.
