Wife and I have been renting in Greenville for 18 months. Want to buy a house and see prices falling the last few months, but still to high along with interest rates for us to buy. Probably rent for a couple more years.

Not sure what will happen in a few years. What I do know is housing prices are on the rise again even with interest rates back to normal. I wouldn’t wait if you can manage it. It will be harder to buy in the coming years I do know that.
