It’s exactly the opposite especially with his stance on Stephen A talking about Trump. Stephen A said on Fox News that black folks can relate to Trump due to the legal trouble he has and Stak saying it’s ignorant to say that cause that’s stereotypical to label black people as criminals & he saying black people aren’t street people that do degenerate behavior. There’s nothing street Stephen Jackson with the way he talked about this. You want Stak to talk like a sissy or preface his words, he’s a man of principle & stood on business. He didn’t approach this topic with any street mentality, he had a strong stance on this topic like every black person would’ve talked in this subject. Maybe Stak delivery was too street for your liking, maybe you only prefer black folks that talk in a soft voice

Screamin A has a presentation issue on this one. It's very usual for journalists to reach out to league offices for clarification. @AndersReign
@AndersReign Ай бұрын
This is where crittical listening comes into play SAS did not ask the league if Russ got suspended, Smith said on TV that he called the NBA to ask why Russ DID NOT get suspended. Pushing for thte league to give him a suspended and lose out on money, he was actively trying to get Russ suspended for a little shov in a highly competitively playoff match. It's also worth noting that SAS doesn't like the LA Clippers since he a Laker fan, so them losing Russ and being without Kawhi would be a huge hit to the Clippers vs Mavs series.

I don't think Stephen A was "told to say that" as Stephen suggests, but it's nearly as bad. He, like so many today, say things like that to get clicks and attention, not because it's a true belief. That's worse, as it is the literal definition of "sellout". Calling the league to complain Westbrook should have been suspended? Try to cost him a game check? That's unacceptable. He has a platform, several actually, to shout his opinions and complain the league should have suspended Westbrook. But to call the league personally? That's no longer a journalist or media personality offering opinion (his job), but is a personal attack on a player with significant potential cost. He is not the opposing team coach or GM, he is not employed by the league. It's so over the line, especially given the unique position he has to make his opinion well known to the league, and to influence public perception, that I believe this will end his career. It's being extremely underreported how upset players were by his actions.

Ima just respond to the Russ part and keep it about ball. If Brodie didn’t keep that energy during that game i believe the clips would’ve gave up on the series. He is a spark and energy, the physical play during the playoffs has been great to watch. I think both sides can agree.
