Thanks for your video. I had many lagging problems with my films made in gopro editing in Davinci Resolve Now i´m going to trry with h.264 comdec, but its extrange, cose my computer is the new macbook pro 16". I don´t know.

I bought gopro 7. Joy disappeared when there were problems with HEVC files. I would like to be able to choose only h.264. It is enough for me to have a bit less bitrate. If already gopro uses a new codec should and gopro studio work smoothly with that HEVC! Or suggest to download a codec from their gopro site.

O ps Gopro 7 black has an setting in the viedo seting it sayes H264+ Hevc or just Hevc only . If you filmed it in HEvc only its locked in H265 . Gopro just sould sayed super mode that films in H265 only

After converting the video using this converter, it is not lagging any more. Did you use Handbrake as i showed in this video?

@@fundoorajat I didn't see your video on the converter yet but I heard you can run the content through an editing program and it will work

@@evenflow3256 You can play the converted video on any media player, i was able to convert the video and now i can play it regularly on WMP.

Just got a Hero7 & my 2017 27" 5K iMac has no problems with lag etc. I edit in FCPX & export at H264, compress in Handbrake (H264 settings) & the videos look brilliant! But upload them to KZfaq & they are unwatchable? Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? Cheers in advance!

Sorry i am not sure what is happening here, H.264 videos should be compatible on KZfaq. Try playing with some other settings.

@@fundoorajat Thanks for getting back to me. I am experimenting with settings & I think I forgot to change the framerate when importing to FCPX. My previous 4K camera was only at 30fps... I'm hoping that's the reason anyway...;-))

It might take a while after you upload on KZfaq esp if ur vid is 4K , right after you uploaded u only can watch the lowest quality , but it will become 4K in a matter of time

Just update your Win 10 and install "HEVC Video Extensions" from Microsoft Store. It costs $1, but allows you to watch and preview all h265 videos. Or use 3rd party players.

Lossless cut will cut H264 no problem, but it won't cut HEVC. I only ever film in 1080p so, if it's set on "H264 & HEVC" it will only use HEVC at 200 FPS or 240 FPS anyway. I normally convert my vids to a lower bitrate like 25 MB/s but, on the standard bitrate setting at 1080p using H264, it saves the files at 45 MB/s bitrate and while that makes files a lot bigger than converting them to 25 MB/s, if they are left alone, it retains the original video which looks far better. I have done tests where I have taken a 60 MB/s source video and converted it to a new video at 60 MB/s and there's quality loss, simply because the video got converted.

I PAID 700$ to Upgrade my PC to an AMD 3700X because my i7 INTEL 4790K BECAUSE I THOUGHT THE CPU Couldnt handle the H265 Files. Did it SOLVE the problem? NO!! THIS FILE CODEC IS EXTREMELY LAGGY. ITS A SOFTWARE ISSUE NOT HARDWARE. WINDOWS 10 ARE NOT READY FOR THIS.

It is not true, I have an old processor that i got 7 years ago and clearly it is not compatible with H265 however once i installed the codec it works fine. Check this video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/l52GrNKWkseRdHk.html
