If Eddie signs Shakur, he will have a serious roster of talent and star power. He already has the best roster in boxing, but Shakur would be the cherry on top. @alexreid4131 because benn failed two seperate drug tests and him and eddie were constantly trying to play the victim. Eddie also has had ben fight overseas while this case is going on because he cant fight in the UK. Eddies been hypocritical about others who have failed PEDs but not Benn. Eddie constantly tried to bully the board and even legal threats to try and get them to back down from the benn situation. I could go on.

@@recodegamesstudio interesting take on it. Thanks for taking the time to explain your reasoning. From my recollection there were two failed tests and all parties decided to continue with the fight. That happens all the time in boxing so hardly scandalous but doesn’t sit well with me all the same quite honestly. Then I believe a day or so before the fight the British Boxing Board of Control made a decision to withdraw their sanctioning despite having known about the failed test for weeks. Then Eddie Hearn and Kalle Sauerland postponed the fight. After that my understanding is that all the back and forths were between Benn’s legal team and the BBBoC and VADA. Eddie wasn’t involved in any of that. And it’s entirely possible I’ve followed the whole thing wrong as it has been all over the map. However, seems to me what Eddie did “wrong” (but hardly an isolated incident in boxing) was to not cancel the fight immediately. But again it wasn’t up to him while all the other parties agreed for the fight to go ahead. So, in my opinion not a particularly smart and even a questionably immoral decision…..but hardly “scandalous”.

Joshua only beat Martin who won the vacant title from Glazov, Ruiz because he just lost to him lol, and Parker who just beat Ruiz for a vacant title.
