But titanic crew replied " shut up " so the crew members of the californian switched off the radio room and went to sleep ,so when titanic send radio signals for help californian didn't receive it .Also titanic should use red flares for help but they used white flare soo the californian thought it was a party . Additional info : Californian was one hour away from titanic ,not soo near . Carpathiya was more far than californian soo it arrived only after the titanic sank for rescue .

Numerous refugee boats sank over the past decade, and countless adults and children drowned. But no one is interested to prevent this catastrophe from happening again and again

Madan anna.. My point of view some of the reasons are (not accurate may happens) 1. Rivets and material issue (if continuous we kept the steel at water which temperature is approx. Two degree celsius means, it will come more brittle - like a biscuit) 2. Night watcher hasn't uses binacular 3. Avoiding icebergs warnings from other ship especially SS California. (In 100 years ago traffic rules are quite different, at the time SS California's (which near to titanic) communion system may shutdown by their teams. So they don't get any SOS messages from titanic rather than Carpathya received.) 4. Insufficient life boats (just 20 only) 5. No technology like sonor 6. Emergency firecracker from titanic's colour may different, it doesn't shows an emergency. So SS California may ignore. Finally, we all thank and salute the Mr.Jach who is a senior wireless operator on the RMS titanic. Because at that time radio apparatus has in problem. After that accident he has solved that issue, and try to connect or contact the nearest ship. Then that SOS message was received and replied by RMS carpathia (Unfortunately they are in 4 hours away from titanic, and titanic don't have that much of lead time). All survived passengers are rescued by Carpathia (life boats don't have communication or navigation system also manual operated model). If Carpathia hasn't replied, survived peoples (700) may face more trouble. Last but not least, Mr. Jack hasn't survived but he helps or gave life to 700 persons. Moral is "Help others without any expectation".

It’s the fault of the navigation system. Ships don’t come close to the shore because they get stuck in the sand on the beach. Thus it’s hard to pull out the ship from the sand. So ports are built like railway platforms. We loved to see the movie TITANIC. How much more would have people loved to travel in the Giant Ship 🛳 TITANIC.
