Can't forget that KP innings against Steyn in England .. the way he was whacking Steyn all over the ground with such dismay .. Steyn was at that time the premier fast bowler of his generation ... Haven't seen anyone play that way against the premier fast bowler ... Viv Richards was before my time .. heard he used to do the same ...

ngl listening to Jarrod talking about KP makes me think he might be on the ASD spectrum. misses social cues, "you dont know what its like to be me", unusual way of looking at world and behaving. also, numerous faux pas etc.

That said i follow jarrord kimber from days of cricket with balls. I am fan of his writing. I read every word he says when write his articles. he tellls story with his words. he has the extreme gift of story telling because it seems he observe keenly and convert it into words that tells like man who watches with microscope. I dont think anyone have that gift. He is very special. He is better than all the writers combined in cricinfo. No one write better cricket article than jarrord kimber!

Jarrod's co-writing a book about the 50 best Test batters of all time. He's interviewed a pretty insane line-up of all time greats about their own game, other batters and just batting in general. As it's research for a book, they aren't being released immediately though. One with AB de Villiers is now on Jarrod's Red Inker channel, it's a really fantastic listen. I'd guess that more will be released either after the book is published or around the time of publishing as a good bit of publicity.

Why is it the media don’t understand sport and sportsmen and question their ways and attitude, not everyone is the same vanilla character and when it comes to sport if you haven’t learned that by now then seriously what are you about. World class sportsmen aren’t built like you they don’t think like you or I for that matter yet you voice an opinion on what someone tells you, fortunately I have a brain and I’m lucky enough to have met great sportsmen and I’ve been in a dressing room and it’s full of characters you just except because they are brilliant and are different but they have a talent like most will never come close. I’ve met most top sportsmen from cricket especially as that’s always been my passion however I don’t give an opinion based on what someone else told me, I have an opinion on what I know first hand from meeting people and I respect them all and yes I certainly haven’t liked them all but I played my sport in a way most didn’t like me because they actually never got to know me whilst those who did will give a different opinion.

People who are incredible at one area usually have their talent offset by a lack of talent or skill in another area. You have to be different to be great at something, and being different always produces eccentric types. No one is perfect in every way

What Jarrod was saying about KP and missing social cues has got me thinking that KP might actually be Autistic it's such a common trait among us and aswell alot of autistic people that are popular people for some reason outside for like medical/scientific fields they tend to be very polarizing people because they think about things differently.

Brilliant cricketer and he got to where he is because he is not only supremely gifted it is also his personality which works for him to be successful. However, there is a trade off with that type of character. He is not that interested in other people especially if they do not have his talent. Most of his friends are famous people or great cricketers. He does not entertain normal in his life. Hence, he will always divide opinion. The fact that he became such a great batsman is incredible because as a youngster he was known for being an off spinner that battted.

I never agree with Jarrord kimber analysis. I dont know why but we think different. But he is greatest euology writer ever. He can write biography on anyone and make it fantastic read. But i dont like his analysis. He is he , Me is me. Meaning is that he has to do with what he knows. Some tricks some stunt...Lots of people fall for trick. That said you can never say he is not working hard to prove his theories have valid merit. For me his analysis and opinion have no validity. Interesting but no actual value in real game. He go by numbers which says nothing about the context. This is world of energy and kryptonites, number has no say.
