China town in Korea is over 100 years old. 2nd and 3rd generation families live and work there. There are some really great restaurants and jajangmyeon history museum. Worth going to and having a great meal.

Almost a bit tacky . I would understand if it was in a western country which does not understand chinese culture. But Korea is next to China and it has been greatly influenced by China

The only country on the planet where Chinatown hasn't succeeded is South Korea. It's easy to see why there are no people there, and very few Koreans go there. Why would you go there when you can order Chinese food from your phone or app and have it delivered right from the Han River or from your hotel? Chinese overseas Chinese still dominate Southeast Asia's commerce and are still expanding around the world. It may be interesting to foreigners, but as a Korean, I feel sorry for you because I don't understand why you would go to such an unpopular place when there are so many better places to go. Chinatown in Korea is actually the last place where Chinese overseas Chinese gathered because they failed to settle in Korea, but in order to survive, they developed a cuisine that suited Korean tastes, which is Korean-style Chinese food. It is completely different from Chinese food and has long since become a national dish. Because of this, you can order Chinese food anywhere in Korea and it will be delivered to you in almost 10 minutes, no matter where you are. So why would anyone go there? I respect the concept of your trip, but it seems to me that you really need a guide.
