I think it'd be funny if the person who becomes Gavv was a dietician or dentist just for the ironic contrast of "my main job is making sure your teeth/body is healthy, but my Rider powers/theme is snack foods that are bad for you in excess".

I'm probably just having a crackpot theory, but the driver reminds me of a mimic (chest monster) from Dungeons and Dragons which means it could be a monster. What if Kamen Rider Gavv is basically feeding the belt in exchange for power? Im picturing an almost "deal with the devil" scenario or something like a DnD warlock where they draw their power from a patron.

i would love for it to be a mimic theme but the issue i have is that we just got done with chemys who are sentient objects. creatures, and what have you to now sentient candy. kinda feels lazy.

3:50 like I said in the live video, I think since the Japanese logo itself makes the katakana look like teeth, they wanted to keep that aspect in the romanization as well, so by having it be GAVV, the two V's look like fangs!

The main thing Gavv and Boonboomger have in common is their helmet designs, which reflect their theme but are quite strange. Gavv's helmet clearly has a teeth design on it, which reflects the 'biting' part well. On the other hand, it is also pleasing to have a purple main Kamen Rider. Although I'm a little sad that design of Gavv leaked early, I like the design, hopefully it'll be much better than Gotchard.

I genuinely had to do a double take when first seeing Gavv and his driver. I wasn’t too big a fan, but I started warming up to the design, and am actually relatively excited to see the direction this goes

So when I first saw the helmet I thought Kangaroo, but a post on reddit pointed out how the Helmet design is suppose to be based on a tooth. And looking at it again, I can see it. Also, I get very early heisei vibes from Gavv's suit.

I always wanted to see a candy themed kamen rider, Gavv also reminds me of kamen rider Cross-z charge and Grease with the see through armors (also used to make up stories about them being candy riders cause of their jellies lol)

Ideas for extra power-up themes: Ice cream: Ice powers (includes summoning blizzards and freezing enemies) Spicy candy or snacks: Fire powers (including fire punches and kicks as well as fire breath, maybe the form can also have a dragon theme) Rock candy or jawbreaker: Earth/rock powers Sour candy (e.g. Warheads): Acid/poison, can be used to melt or poison enemies Fruit snacks or preserved fruit: Plant-based powers Animal crackers: Powers based on various animals Jelly beans: Trips enemies using jelly beans or summons meteors Jelly/gelatin: Traps enemies in a giant jelly, can also be used to help people who are falling Pocky: Bo staff Popping candy: Lightning Gummy worms: Whip (bonus points if the form will also be a homage to Indiana Jones) Bubble gum: Creates bubbles for trapping enemies or rescuing civilians Peppermint: Strong winds

the rider suit, theme, and belt all have me worried for another low- mid season like weve had with gotchard. The director, lead musician, lead action director are all fire and give me that hope right back. I think what its going to come down too is what are the main characters like and if they bring back a group we care about like in Geats, that and if that can make the plot interesting enough when the theme is candy.

i am going to miss gotchard ngl there could have been things writing wise and it has gotten better but at the end of the day i still enjoyed the series a lot, i am excited for gavv the only thing that throws me off is the red belt with a purple, yellow, and blue suit that’s really it but the suit itself is interesting and really cool i can’t wait to see it

I've been thinking about future motifs for a while, and among them were about food. We already got Gaim, but there has to be other things. I was partially right, but wasn't expecting it to be based off from candy. The belt gimic does remind be of Japanese snacks, and I love that. Also kind of made me crave for snacks. LoL

The sagarc driver doesn’t really talk either and the same with the zecters from kabuto. Kiva and drive are the most talkative ones. They reuse the handle from build like how sentai weapon and changer reuse the ooo tajadol spinner handle.

My theory is the MC is a rando who's big on the sweetness of life. The main villains are collecting this "Sweetness" for whatever reason which turns people into monsters themed after the negativity of sweetness. He turns this negative sweetness into his gimmick.

Very excited. I am liking the theme, looks and the crew working on this show. Gotchard was pretty mid and i really did not like the Chemies. Gavv looks spot on silly and over the top and cool at the same time and i like the idea of the Belt being alive. Geats had great action and story so i have bigger expectations for this than Gotchard.
