In relation to karma, the Bhagavad Gita is trying to tell people to generate no karma, good or bad, by performing devotional service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead Lord sri Krishna. In order to experience karma in general, one needs a material body. Thus, when one is Krishna-conscious and reaches his Supreme abode, he gets a transcendental body which is not subject to good or bad karma and finally escapes samsara.

Is the goal of life to only do good humanitarian deeds and amend negative karma we cannot remember...or is it to go beyond karma and only devote to the Source/Godhead...or is it both? Do spirits experience karma? And what about the random accidents and early deaths that happen to people beyond their karmas?
