The difference between magma and lava is explained along with scenes showing geologist sampling volcano lava, lava entering Pacific Ocean and volcanic black sand beaches. Hawaii Volcanoes : Kilauea and Mauna Loa are two of the world's most active volcanoes that continue to build the Big Island of Hawaii.

Bibi Landin The lava is over a thousand degrees Centigrade, but it flows slowly and is approachable. About the closest that we can get to lava of any kind.

No, marble is a completely different rock. Once cooled, this lava will be a basalt.
