What is Legend Keeper and How to Use it For Dungeons and Dragons?

Many Dungeon Masters out there will have kept their campaign notes in something like Google Drive or even a notepad, but now there are more and more campaign note management tools coming up for your Dungeons and Dragons game.
Legend Keeper is newly on my radar but I have been very impressed with what I have seen. It makes creating D&D campaign notes super easy compare to some alternatives such as World Anvil.
Legend Keeper can help to flesh out your DnD world with articles, wikis, maps with pins, as well as the ability to easily share it with your players.
In this video I give you a Legend Keeper tutorial to show you how it works while giving examples as to how I use it to build my Dungeons and Dragons world.

NO! I'll never trust online sites with my data. Did Obsidian Portal long ago... nope! Stay with something that stores your stuff on your computer, something you can recover, One Note is great, Realm Works is great as well. It's stupid to trust anyone but yourself with your work.

@@28mmRPG You can export the data any day you want. I think it does it with one click. I am a Real Works convert. Love that program but it is totally on the way out.

@@dragonscales4377 if players opt, I'll usually run in Fantasy Grounds (I have ultimate, so players can use the free demo to join in). This usually works with about 80% of my sessions... and I GM with a notebook&pen in hand writing down stuff during the session and then adding things to FG. If its just discord/skype/streamlabs then I go Realmworks or One note. Everything is paid-once own forever... I don't want subscriptions. But yeah if it works, and you like it, cool.

Does it have an API that could be integrated with foundryvtt?

Not at the moment, no. The developer is always updating though so might be a feature in the future

API is a big undertaking, but there's a user in the LK Discord, asacolips#1867 who developed a plugin that can use a [static] exported LK project and import it into Foundry. I haven't used it yet, but it might be a good stopgap.
