What is money? How does money work? Why do we use money?
Money is something that most of us spend a majority of our lives trying to obtain, and most of us have very little idea of what it even is.
In the past, some societies used salt as money. Others used sea shells as money.
Over time money has evolved as a medium of exchange and a store of value, which I go over in this video.
If you live in the United States (or any other country that uses fiat money) you may have only used 1 form of money throughout your entire life.
This video sheds light on what makes money money, the different types of money that exist, and also the 6 traits or characteristics of money.
This will be video 1 of a 2 part series that digs a bit deeper into the thing most of us use every day without really giving it much thought.
Enjoy and please share the video!

I started investing in the stock market because of dividends. What matters, in my opinion, is that if you invest and earn more money in addition to dividends, you will be able to live off of dividends without selling. It implies that you can pass that on to your children, giving them a head start in life. I've invested over $600k in dividend stocks over the years; I continue to buy more today and will continue to do so until the price lowers even further.

It's always inspiring to hear from a veteran investor who has weathered the storm and come out on top. When your portfolio turns from green to red, it might be unsettling, but if you have invested in great companies, you should just keep adding to them and stick with your plan.

@@Blitcliffe I wholeheartedly concur, which is why I appreciate giving an investment coach the power of decision-making. Given their specialized expertise and education, as well as the fact that each and every one of their skills is centered on harnessing risk for its asymmetrical potential and controlling it as a buffer against certain unfavorable developments, it is practically impossible for them to underperform. I have made over 1.5 million dollars working with an investment coach for more than two years.

Love The breakdown. I've gradually built my finance and made my first $100k through investing which i've used to start my jewellery business, and with what I’ve Learned over a decade investing, given enough time, solid investments have the potential to double the initial principal amount, but many investors are instead attracted to the lure of high yields in short periods of time despite the possibility of unattractive losses before even getting out. So the onus is on newbies to beware. Having multiple income streams helped me stay afloat in business when the pandemic broke out

"The five best bank accounts of 2020!" Was that an attempt at impersonating Graham Stephan? 😂😂 Not bad, solid 5/7! Good video, I look forward to your next one. Also, I hope to see a more in depth video about fiat currency and what having that system means for us.
