Thing to note: Mojang is adding new ores, but this video is discussing what might replace netherite in the future. :)

I think the best way to do this without making "Endium" too OP and keep other ores and materials relevant is to make it a kind of branch upgrade for diamond gear. So you can give buffs to Endium that Netherite doesn't have and vice versa and make the player choose whether they want to upgrade their diamond gear to Netherite or Endium.

Actualy, Mojang said that there will never be someting stronger than netherite. But that there will be new ores for tools and armor, but just with a positive effect. For example , an ore that doesn´t break but is very weak

Honestly I think enderite is the next, you can find it when mining on the end island but never the main one. Shulkers can sometimes drop a few of these.

Maybe Endium could be an upgrade from netherite, however if it fell in lava it would turn back to netherite, as Endium would have no reason to be fire resistant. This could make it slightly less effective and less op, and make you fear lava again (though to a lesser degree)

You know how netherite Is good in the nether, due to fire being so prevelant, what if when you died due to void with endium on, it levitated to around y=70, or telported to the nearest block, so it can't get lost in the void. Ok so hear me out, netherite tools and armor are the peak for the basic ore tier system But maybe, you can improve items that are outside the tier system with this "endium" you already mentioned elytras giving you an actual protection value so you won't need to carry a chest plate everywhere, but I'm also thinking about Endium Tridents and Endium Bows/Crossbows Maybe an Endium Trident (on top of having the basic buffs of +1 dmg and more durability) when thrown works as an ender pearl that does not dmg you, and if you have riptide 3 it would let you fly even while outside of water An Endium Bow/Crossbow maybe could work as a shield while charging your attack (obviously having way more durability to allow that usage), they'd likely be renamed to "endium shield-bow/crossbow" also it would allow you to hit endermen with arrows Perhaps an Endium "fishing rods" can be renamed to "endium grappling hook" and do just that allowing you to climb vertical structures without doing the water climb trick or towering up

New gear trends are about replacing straight up armouring. Turtle shell, leather, gold... All unique uses that you sacrifice protection to wear. If there were end themed new armour items, they would have to do with teleportation or levitation.

I got an idea! So to get enderium, you need to mine floating debris and then you need to smelt it to get enderium nuggets and then you need to turn it into scrap and then get the ingot by combining with diamond and then get end upgrade from loot structures and then fuse it with diamond to get the gear which gives you enhanced durability, ability to fuse chestplate with elytra and floaty if there is void beneath and won't be destroyed by heavy explosions

Idea: what if the when you put a full set of Endium armor on, it makes it so that a new armor spot is revealed and you are able to wear an elytra and your chest plate at the same time. Doing this however would probably increase the rarity of the Endium ore by a substantial margin.

I would imagine this: First you would have to get your diamond armour of course, and soon later upgrade to netherite. Now that you've got your netherite it's time to travel to.. The end. When you are at the end you could notice a new island (When you pass through the portal with leads to the islands with end cities) with special end blocks, it's an island and on it is mountains and caves + ravines, far down into caves and that is the Endezium (WHAT I NAMED IT) and you must have a netherite pickaxe or an efficiency 4 and over diamond pickaxe to mine it, as it shouldn't be too easy to obtain. When you mine the Endezium you get ' Raw Endezium ' and have to smelt it with Endoal (COAL FROM THE END) to make it into ingots, when you have enough you can make your Endezium armour and tools, not only that but there should be a special Endezium block! Flaws: If you accidentally drop your endezium things into lava they will start melting back into netherite. The Endezium armour will slowly decay over time, but when it's decayed completely it will form into what lurks behind all its layers, diamonds, but these diamonds are not useful and will give you slowness when in an inventory of any kind. When in the overworld + nether, mobs will attack you on sight (Unless it's a friendly mob like a cow or a chicken, etc). Pros: Endezium keeps you immune to being attacked from any mobs in the end (AND ENDERMANS + ENDERMITES IN THE OVERWORLD) including the ender dragon, endermans, shulkers, etc. And there is a special enchantment that is rare but useful, the enchantment is called 'Recruit' and once yiu find the book in an end city (VERY RARE) you can put it on the armour and when on one heart (or lower) you can call 2 enderman and 2 endermite to assist you! But, these mobs are weaker than usual to make it fair. BREAKING DOWN: Endezium wears down after quite a while of course, but there's something about this which doesn't make it too OP. The truth is, if you are found mining endezium in the end by any end mobs (ENDERMANS MIGHT BE IN CAVES) they will immediately attack you and after the attack your Endezium armour will be half way down from it was before, example: Full to half, half to a quarter. After being attacked you will be nauseous for 1 minute and blind for 10 seconds.

Simply answer: Nothing Mojang has already said that, at least in the next 9-10 updates there will be no better material than netherite. They designed it to be THE BEST, irreplaceable material. It is true, it does not mean that new minerals do not come with different mechanics, but in the case of a fictitious one, for example, Enderite, it would not be better, different, but not better than Netherite. And trust me I'd love to be totally wrong and have a better stuff next update... I love watching theory videos and making mines too, but in this case, it's likely, for not saying impossible, that the next material would be any better than Netherite. I know I’m late to this video bit i have a pretty cool idea for an end ore. The end ore would be called end prism and its ore would be small light purple and light blue shards in some end stone. When mining it, it would drop an end stone geode (doesn’t work with fortune). After you get your geode you can use it in a smithing table with a diamond pickaxe or better for an unpolished end prism. For the final part to getting your end prism you would need a new block - the super blast furnace. This would be made with 5 obsidian on the bottom and 3 netherite on top. Then in a normal blast furnace you would need to smelt netherack to create burning netherack. This would only work in a super blast furnace because of how hot it is and would last longer than a lava bucket. This would be used to smelt the unpolished end prism to get an end prism crystal (and possibly more in the far future) which will finally be used with netherite in a smithing table to create end prism tools/armour.

Maybe, I mean I've seen youtubers talking about a 4th dimension that is related to the new mob, "The Warden". So maybe they will add a new ore that is probably be useful for the 4th dimension, if that actually happen. Just my opinion.

I don’t think that endium should be an armor “better” than netherite in protection but should have more abilities. like endium being a tool for doing different tasks like getting to hard places. Netherite should be used more with combat and brawls. This will distinguish the two. Getting out of hard situations and dealing with hard situations. this could also mean some players if they are low Hp they could escape more easily or possibly confuse the attacker. Maybe the "endium" could also be used as some sort of trap setup armor, helping you lead mobs or players into traps you create. Now yes this could be a bit diffucult to implement and may not be "vanilla" but it still would add some variety instead of protection. Please let me know if you agree or not. Thanks

the presentation of endium being added to minecraft is very unlikely because even in minecraft dungeons:echoing void dlc where in that game the end dimension has been updated adding new biomes,mobs and plants there we can't see any ore unlike the mcd: flames of nether dlc which has ores like nether quartz and gold at the end we can't find any ores I don't know maybe the endium ore is under the end islands like you said this also explains why there is no ancient debris in mcd:flames of nether dlc even though there are blocks of netherite everywhere

Endium armor could teleport you 10 blocks away on something solid when you are hit. Endium swords could teleport entities you hit 4 blocks in the air Endium tools (shovel, pickaxe, axe, hoe) could teleport block drops in your inventory. For example you mine wood and you don't have to pick it up, it teleports to you. Stepping on endium blocks teleports you to the nearest endium block in a 2 x 2 chunk radius

I would say something interesting Mojang could do is make it so there are maybe 2 new ores in the end and both give new sets of armor lets name the 2 endium and shulkion shulkion could have better protection but worse durability and endium have worse protection but better durability also both can have extra special buffs endium could have the buffs you said in the video while shulkion could have a teleportation abbilty but better block range then endium and could fly on command for a few seconds and secondly, we could make a new ingot dropped from endermen (this could make endermen more useful!) you can then use the ingots mixed with 2 new shulker drops 1.Shulker bullets 2.shulker soul shulker bullets mixed with the new ingot makes a shulkion ingot which gives you shulkion gear while a shulker soul mixed with the new ingot could give you endium gear we can also make a new crafting table for this potentially we can make it from purpur, endstone and a eye of ender.

I think it could work as another "upgrade" to diamond that is actually a slight nerf to it stats-wise, but provides you with unique effects. Each piece of it would have lower durability than it's diamond equivalent, but have a specific function to make up for it. Boots give you a slight jump boost, legs give you a speed boost, chest gives you resistance to damage over time effects (not nullifying them entirely, but still keeping you alive better), and the helmet can give you greatly increased vision in the dark. All these would not be quite as powerful as their potion effect equivalents, but they would stack with those potions for greater boosts. The idea here is to basically give diamond gear two upgrade trees depending on how you want to play. You can be more of a tank with knockback resist and high durability armor if you go with netherite, or you can be more mobile and evasive with enderium.

I think mojang will probably leave netherite to age abit instead of making it immediately replaced I mean the whole reason diamond armour and such was so iconic was due to how long it was the king so they would probably let netherite age I also think that when minecraft does add the new armour/ore eventually i think the next ore/armour they would add would probably be environmental armour as in maybe armour solely for the ocean since turtle shells are just helmets Or maybe air type armour will can help with having less risk in the air with a elytra or maybe a double jump etc since it would only make sense to have more situational types armour since stacking armour over armour will just lead into netherite and diamonds becoming worthless merely just small walls

I have my own proposition for the next ore tier - Chitin. Acquiring it is supposed to be even more complicated than Netherite, and it goes like this. An amber with a similar, but paler texture to Endstone sometimes spawns in the outer End islands. It teleports like the Dragon Egg, but it doesn't fall down. Instead, you need to weaken it by making an explosion hit it. This allows you to mine it with a Netherite pickaxe and obtain a Chitin Vestige. Chitin Vestiges can be used with Phantom membranes to craft an Elytra, or they can be used to create tools and armor that are better than Netherite, faster than gold, and have the same unique buffs that you said "Endium" should have. They can also be used along with a piston, a conduit, an undamaged anvil and Sculk Shriekers to craft a Pneumatic Pestle. A Pneumatic Pestle is a utility block which, at the cost of XP and a Redstone block, crushes any block-type item (such as a diamond block, a gold block, etc.) And outputs a number between 7 and 10 of the base ore (i.e. diamond or iron ingot), giving you a chance to get more of that item at the risk of losing some of it instead. It also has another function: When you crush obsidian with the Pneumatic Pestle, you have a chance to get 0 to 1 obsidian shard. These obsidian shards can then be used to craft even better armor and tools, including a pickaxe capable of mining bedrock (which only drops if you have Silk Touch). This, in turn, allows you to craft even better and faster bedrock tools and armor. Watch out, Wardens.

Netherite is tlike the real life version of lonsdailyite. If they do add new ones, they could do it either in The End Update or when they add the new dimension when you open the portal in the city center.

I actually really want an Ore in the End which is a challenge to obtain. Especially since copper and amethyst are KINDA useless cuz you can't make armor or tools out of them. They're just used to make spyglasses, and whatnot, and they're used for decoration.

I think teleporting and protection from ender is too op. I agree with the wing idea. But should use iron to make the armor stuff. maybe we can have gold and copper fusion armor inbetween iron and gold and lasts longer then gold armor and tools. But Pigmen will still attack you.

Occasionally, my brother and I talk about what ore they could add after netherite. As a joke we decided to call it endermite. So basically, one if it's special abilities is this, void resistance. Basically, if you fall into the void with a full set of gear, the armor won't disappear into the void. It will teleport to the top of the nearest block. As a bonus, it also can't Despawn, do you can never actually loose this stuff.

The thumbnail mystery ore was ruby. It has been added to the game before emeralds were there but jeb decided to remove it because he said it's easily mistakable for redstone. Even though lapis is also mistakable for diamond. It was in the game itself for one day but it is probably still in the game files.

Voiderite can be made into voiderite blocks by combining 4 of them together. Then you add 4 popped chorus fruit and 4 voiderite blocks to a voiderite ingot. Which you can upgrade netherite with. Along with this, you should add a new biome to the end that allow you to swim through end water which is basically poisonous unless your wearing a voiderite helmet. One you swim through you will be at a corrupt monument (it is corrupt because Minecraft end music is just corrupted version of over world music) then guarding the corrupt monument are corrupt drowned that can sometimes drop a spear not a trident. In the corrupt monument should be a vault contains treasure that you can only unlock with a corrupt sponge(obtained from corrupt elder guardian) , 2 voiderite ingots, and 3 glow gel(obtained from glowing jelly fish in the corrupt waters of the end). The reason corrupt water should be in the end is because enderman don’t like water, except maybe there should be a corrupt water to let them swim or something.

I just realized lava is basically the void in the nether so make Endium gas, after falling in the void it turns into gas and scoopable in a bottle which then turns back into Endium but holding the bottle will damage 2 hearts to the player every minute for 5 minutes before truning back into Endium. 2 Endium gas bottles will keep the heat up and randomly start "burning the player to a crisp". Also don't throw out your Netherite as it will stop endium damage up to 5 bottles.

Remember: *Netherite is NOTHING without diamond*

I actually have a theory/idea that the next ore isn’t gonna be better than Netherite, but a new and rarer Lapis in the end maybe. Protection V-X, Sharpness V-X, Mending II, Unbreaking III-V, basically a Lapis Lazuli that gives you extremely overpowered enchantments. I had a whole explanation to it and how it could be balanced and introduce Minecraft into more things about magic, and that this End Lapis would be at the center of it all… One can dream I suppose.

while the idea of having it spawn beneath islands is neat... what if you couldn't just look for it? what if instead, mining about the end islands would allow you to potentially run into a special type of endstone (one i personally dub "Strange Endstone") that would basically be the ore, but camoflaged?

How about instead of another ore we get another armor material dropped by a mob? Dragon scales, and Dragon tears. I read somewhere that when a dragon cries their tears harden when the dry up turning into a sort of pearl or diamond like object that said to be stronger than diamond. While their scales are stronger than steel. We can use blaze powder on the Dragon Tear to turn it into a Dragon Crystal then combine it with Dragon Scales to create Dragon Armor. The Dragon scales on their own could crafted into armor but by using a Dragon Crystal on it in the smithing table we can turn it Dragon Crystal Armor.

Endium with elytra could give you a boost if you press shift while flying. Equivalent to the basic firework boost, with a 10 second cooldown. It would be cool!
