🤔..........Hmm.............Interesting. While I doubt Nintendo is going to sell a paper bag to put over people's heads, there are an overwhelming number of patents that have been filed that talk about some type of "Virtual Camera" as matter-of-fact and works in concert with the new Switch-device. WAAAAY too many to just be proof-of-concept or to play keep-away from others by coming up with random ideas and filing patents on them for _possible_ future hardware. This might be some type of subliminal-messaging regarding the new device. I mean, one way to really get over a VR-type device would be to have some horror-based game on it. Remember, ZombiU was a game that they used to show off the capabilities of the Wii U GamePad and that was a horror game. Or........it could just be a game. 😅

@@Wallie33. the Geno mii costume. When sepiroth was added to smash, we also got a mii costume of Geno from super Mario rpg. And it not only was a costume (not an actual character) but it looked nothing like him. Also half the roster in smash is anime swordfighters. It’s more redundant than the mascot horror genre.

Specially now cause he got the remake so his chances are higher then before. And anime sword fighters are very common in Japanese games and Nintendo is a Japanese company so it makes sense they would add more sword fighters from time to time. Nonetheless we would also get more creative characters from time to time.

@@AstralXen Yeah Xenoblade is rated T and is about the same maturity level as Persona. (1-4 specifically, 5 is a lot darker) The only reason Persona is rated M and Xenoblade isn't is because Persona has the funny penis monster in it as a silly joke which was too much for the ESRB. Same reason why SMT games are rated M but Xenoblade isn't. The only megaten games not rated M are the ones without the penis monster like DeSu1 and DeSu2 and their remakes on 3DS. But since the penis monster (Mara) is one of the most popular monsters in the series because she's funny, she's in nearly every game and therefore every game with her gets an M. Also I'm pretty sure the really old games on SNES and SMT5 have some topless female monsters, which go a bit farther. A lot of other games in the series censor their bits with hair, fur, apendages, or cloth though. A lot of things in Xenoblade push an M rating though, namely Shania's death scene in XB3 which can be VERY triggering for some people and comes with no warning. That scene alone could warrant an M rating for that game. If Xenogears, the first "xeno" game, was released today it would 100% have an M rating due to having multiple (pixelated) sex scenes, and explicit nudity, (done in a non-sexual/artistic way) and LOTS of gore. How that game didn't get an M back when it released is shocking. It's way more deserving of an M rating than Persona 3 or SMT4 Apocolypse. But at least Persona 5 and Persona 3 Reload come with content/trigger warnings every time you start the game, unlike Xenoblade 3 with Shania's death scene. (pov self game end) Also some characters in XB2 are basically naked and that same game is known for it's frequent strong language, but as long as you don't show a tit, don't drop the f bomb, and don't mention sex directly you won't get an M especially if your game is cartoonish/anime.

@@KrimsonKattYT You're right on most points but I'm pretty sure the Persona games are also rated m because of the use of the f bomb, multiple instances of almost SE, and sexual designs of certain persona's, not just the penis persona. Also they didn't add a trigger warning because Shania pulled the trigger on herself so she could escape punishment, which Is a much more culturally "appropriate" instance of that instead of from mental problems or depression, hence why it still gets a T.

I really don’t think this is something related to the “Switch Successor”, because of the trailer opening with the classic Nintendo Switch intro, so this is not connected to Nintendo’s next console. I suspect more information might be revealed for this sometime later (probably in the September Direct), and I can totally see this as a Halloween release title.
