My concern is less about what theyre building and more about the workers being used well considering how ambitious the project is

Search for any project in mind and you'll find that it has its own channel, in there you can find videos depicting the work done so far. Although the progress is not great, but at least you can clearly see that everything is under construction. Hopefully, it does not take too long!

Neom need futuristic infrastructures too. That should be the first task of construction. Roads or paths should be based on new concepts and maybe vehicles without wheels that would float under magnetic forces. Cars that can travel upward. The technology exists already like Maglev trains.
