What is Refinancing?

4 жыл бұрынI understand many of you already know what refinancing is, but believe it or not I got a few questions recently as to this very thing.
What is refinancing?
All in all it is a very simple answer. I describe it a little in the video, but the basic premise of refinancing your loan is to get a new loan to replace your current loan.

Thank you so much. If I refinance a 100k - 4.5% and there's 23k left to pay, should I still refinance and get the entire 100k at a 3.5 interest rate?

So you purchased a home using a reverse mortgage? Which means you shouldn't have any mortgage payments on your new home. What other savings are you speaking of? Not quite sure I follow.

Is it like that after refinancing that person doesn't need to pay 1st loan?

Your new loan pays the old loan off, so now you only have your new loan.
