What is the difference between Unit regression testing and Retesting, because dono mein bug fix hone ke baad bhi test kar rahe hain.

In Retesting we are executing failed test cases to make sure the bug is fixed or not and after that we are doing regression testing in which we are executing pass test cases to make sure the bug which is fixed is not creating any new defects.

Hi Vijay, Ideally for regression, ther should not be a any checklist as it includes business, product and functional scenarios. Its varies product to product still I will try to share generic test checklist. Next week sometime.
