When i took pharmacy as a carrier i thought that there are alot of opportunities and secure future in it, and that is true but the reality of pharmacy sector is that you have alot of opportunities but the initial salary getting after graduation is very low and the workload is very high and least or maybe almost no holiday in it. Although I'm not saying that taking pharmacy as a carrier is bad option but what I want to tell you guys that India has very cheap man power and i think that is the main reason india manufactures alot of medicines in low salary. and that's why currently India is in the 2nd position of manufacturing of medicines and even foreign countries plant their companies in India and manufacture medicine on cheap prices and get good profit on selling of medicines in abroad. Now I want to tell my opinion on taking pharmacy as a carrier is that if you want to take pharmacy as a carrier then you take only when you have alot of patience. After working of several years in pharmaceutical industries you'll get proper training and on the basis of your working experience you'll definitely get a good salary and you will live a good lifestyle.

Pharma companies have restrictions on price increasing as government has to setup minimum price for drugs to make it available to all. I wish such same restrictions would've been imposed on private doctors too. Coz health matters weather be it a drug or drug suggestor.

There is an intense discrimination between a production and an analytical chemist very especially in the formulation industry.when I went for an interview in a formulation industry for an analytical chemist post the manager asked a few technical questions later whether I wanted prasaadam or I wanted a pindan.U was shocked. Later after a few months later I realises how correct that manager was . The prasadam is for production chemists and the pindam is for the analytical chemists. Assisting and encouraging this predjudice against the QC are biggest and the nastiest persons in the entire pharma industry ---- the drug inspectors and department.So kindly think a million million million times before being a QC chemist. Dude all NIPER passout gets average salary from 3.5-6.5 lpa. All you need are skills that you learn during master's. Companies like DRL, NOVARTIS, SYNGENE really provide good CTC. Get your facts check. Don't demotivate upcoming students. P.S. If you need reference i will provide you that too. My only request is that don't just deliver limited info about Pharma industry and its opportunities.

You have not touched the sales persons employment and salary structure in pharma sector. Sales constituency 8-10 times more than regular employees in the factory. If factory run by 30 people. Sales for may reach 250 to 300 no.s Next time you do any such video please cover this aspect.
