Durometer refers to the hardness of the squeegee blade. Measured on a scale from 0 to 100, a higher durometer indicates a harder blade. Softer blades (lower durometer) conform better to uneven surfaces, making them suitable for printing on fabrics and textured materials. Harder blades (higher durometer) are ideal for flat surfaces and detailed prints. Experimenting with different durometers will help you find the right balance for your specific printing needs.
