Jeff has told us in previous interviews that he was just writing down random letters on Stiles' school folder in Season 1. We know it begins with M because of his Beacon Hills High School ID card. We know it is Polish and his maternal grandfather's name. I think it maybe Mieczysław or Mečislovas or something like that because they also said it was hard to pronounce

Jeff said Stiles' real name is Polish. In one of the episodes (can't remember which), his student ID said his real name began with an M. So my guesses on his real name would be: Maksym, Maksymilian, Marcin, Mateusz, Maurycy, Metody, Mieczyslaw, Mieszko, Mikolaj, Milogost, Miloslaw, Milosz, Mirek, Miron, Miroslaw or Mscislaw.

It worries me that Jeff says he's still deciding if he wants to show Stiles' name written somewhere at the end of the series, because all I can think about is the last shot of the series being of the pack all standing in a green field and looking at something on the ground and slowly one by one each member leaves until it's just Scott and the Sheriff and they say something vague and sentimental, and then it just zooms in on a grave that says, [PRZEMYSŁAW "STILES" STILINSKI loyal son and friend].

It was confirm that his name is Polish name, so you should be prepared for something like Szczepan, Przemysław or Grzegorz. Remember that coach just look at it and give up so it has to be hard to spell and looks ood. Polish is tricky language and something really simple like Bartosz or Radosław is odd for foreigners. PS. Genim isn't Polish, and Jeff said that he is the only person who knows, so there was no name in Stiles acts.

i think it's mienim because in season 1 i think, it shows the letters ienim on his folder (when his dad pointed at the folder after coach asked what his name was) and in season 5 it says his first initial is M (on his library card). It didnt look like there was a lot of room on the folder to list too many letters where his finger was so I'm just guessing its Mienim.

on today's teen wolf it was confirmed sheriff stilinski is Noah and Stiles name is well. watch the episode. But be warned be prepared to cry like a baby because although it was a heart breaking episode the scene where he remembered Stiles was so heart breaking.

If you look at the scene in I believe the first season coach is in a parent teacher conference with stiles dad and it's written on the file you only catch the last bit of it. His name ends in ienim and from what Jeff said his name is polish like his mother so I tried to look it up no progress yet.

there is a scene in season 1 episode 5 the tell where they show his file sheriff Stilinskis finger covers most of it but we can se that it says ienim or Genim but in season 5 we se his library card and is says M. Stilinski and MTV has said that his fist name does not have ienim or Genim in it. so Genim or ienim has to be his middle name.
