Usually doubly reinforced T beam will not be there, T beam is nothing but combination of slab and beam

d is cancelled in both sides. How did you calculated Xu/ d = 0.87fy Ast/ 0.36fckbd. Both 'd ' in left and right will be cancelled.

Sir, can you help me in one question? Please help me sir. Question is here Question-: A slab of a hall is supported over a grid of beams measuring span 4 × 6 m. It has to carry a service live load 3kN/m2 and dead load including finishes 2kN/m2. Using limit state method, M 20 grade of concrete and Fe 500 grade of steel, design an interior mid span of the slab.
