I think Helluva Boss is what saved Hazbin Hotel. If Helluva Boss was never made, a lot of the fanbase might have lost interest waiting too long for Hazbin Hotel to release. Also the funding for the show was helped big time with Helluva Boss' marketing sales from Sharkrobot. Personally I love both and can't wait for Hazbin Hotel in January!

It's a matter of how fun the idea and characters are, indie can't crank out a season after at least 2 years of releasing a pilot. Or they just never get picked up or have future development so we're really only basing out enjoyments on the pilots (excluding helluva boss and murder drones but still)

the voice acting kinda sucks. Based on the egg episode, it's clunky, oddly paced, and not funny when it tries to be. The character designs are pretty cool though.

@@Neoqueenchaoswastakenyeah honestly it’s insane how fast that show took off, it’s definitely the most viewed pilot by a indie studio, it’s quite literally has more views then every other animation pilot on this list, which is insane. Out of all of them amazing digital circus is probably only my fourth favorite (still love it but everything else was just so good) but I have to respect just far that pilot went. Like legit took the internet by storm

Lackadaisy is beautiful. You can see the love and effort put into the story, animation, and so on. It's based on the webcomic, the creator said it's sort of a "pocket dimension", where it's standalone and strays from the original material to an extent, but it's still the same plot and characters. The attention to detail is absolutely amazing, even instruments being animated properly(Example: Rocky's violin in the very beginning) They act really human while retaining their cat-like reactions to situations, and each character is interesting. I actually want to try to apply for their animation team when I turn 18 :) I 100% think you were right to put that at the top. I love Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel as well, depictions of the sins being fresh and new. Despite the controversies and hatred towards them and Vivziepop, I really do appreciate the work and passion put into the story, world, and music. The animation is smooth, and I personally enjoy gathering smear frames from Helluva Boss episodes. They're hilarious. The Amazing Digital Circus is great, but I think I need more before I can really break it down too much. The animation is primarily just experimenting and goofing around - animators and writers are given freedom to do as they please, and it just makes it that much better to watch. The story has so much potential! As a long-time fan of Gooseworx, I have hope in the show. Murder drones clearly has a lot of care put into it, but the story can be tricky to follow in your first watch through. It's certainly not for everyone either, but it does deserve love. I'm not the biggest fan of it, but I do enjoy the animation. There's a lot of talented/skillful people working on it! I have yet to see Monkey Wrench, unfortunately.

I’m surprised nobody’s commenting about monkey wrench, I get it’s sorta the outlier here but hands down zeurel did amazing animating for the shows first episode, and episode two was amazing. I hope more people give it recognition as soon as the first episode dropped I was hooked. It might take a long time for an episode to come out, but it’s really quality over quantity, and it makes the build up to each episode so much more hype! The character’s interact amazingly together in the first episode, all the characters acted like they’ve meet each other before (Cause I think most of them have). Also please check out playground! It’s a horror 2d animation show and it’s amazing! Currently there’s only a trailer though, but trust me that trailer is all you need, The monster designs are so creepy.

@@sisvogia From what I've heard, Stolas was originally intended to be an antagonist, and that Viv only pairing him and Blitzo because Blitzo's voice actor said he shipped them, and it is quite believable that the pairing was last-minute, due to the lackluster quality of the episodes ever since the ship became prominent

My favourite is Murder Drones tbh- It just has everything I love in a show. Which makes it my currently favourite show! And pretty much the only thing I've been thinking about since August is Murder Drones. Helluva Boss is absolutely overhated. It's not a perfect show, sure, but it's still a REALLY good one. I get why people point out its flaws since that's a normal thing to do, but I've seen way too many people complain and make a big deal out of the littlest things

I literally fall asleep watching the show ajajajajs I'm just watching for the cute murder drone who follows the protagonist. I don't know if I'm gonna catch the other episodes soon knowing that there's three more about to come out. And spoiler alert about the show: protagonist girl, your father was going to let them kill you. Why do you still love him?! That makes zero sense to me. That and the paw patrol humor somentimes but that's funny at least

I like all of them, but man, Monkey Wrench (while not being my all-favorite) it's honestly under-appreciated. I feel like out of all the indie animated shows out there, this one is like a hidden gem. Glad it actually gets recognition.
