It's brushed cotton front / nylon added in the net area for the finishing / polyester is the main ingredient, when u talk dryfit.

Lol I didn't see this video before I used a foam trucker snap bk hat. They turned out alright 1st 2 the placement was to low,the 3rd & 4th turned out the way I wanted. I got an old machine for hats,but itz in good condition. The knob for temperature wouldn't stay on so I had no idea what the setting was but it shows the temperature. I finally got it on 365 what the instructions said that came w/the heat transfer sheets,it said 6 seconds but I counted to 8. Was about to smoke at 8 seconds.

For foam I use Otto. You can pick them up drop ship in Ontario. Cool people. I use the siser easy weed. Works perfect.

Big Brandon! I see u had both of the sig series hat presses. I’m trying to compare the standard version to the interchangeable one. I’ll be mainly doing big crown Otto trucker hats and snap backs right now, but wanted to see which one u prefer I start with? What’s my best option for those style hats to avoid scorch boxes or creasing? I’m not too sure on what else the interchangeable feature would be needed for most

Do you use the platen that came with your hat press to do that particular kind if hats? Or do you change it out?

Wazzz Good Big B sorry for my Lateness. I have a question for you brotha. I'm a Size 8 Hat Size not a Huge Fan of Snapbacks, cause on those clips I'm on the last hole don't like ir cause the back its like a V shape, but these Truckers hat style are badass what do you recommend me to go get

Awesome shit bro, I have a question about these hats, and I’m sure you have a video about it already, but As oppose to stitching or a patch, is the vinyl press you’re preferred method of branding a hat? And if I had my own vinyl press is it really cheaper than having them done by someone? Thanks bro

for trucker hats yes. easy to do from home low over head. but for standard 6 panel snapbacks. i usually get them embroidered cuz i cant do that from home.

Big Brandoh hope all is well with you and your loved ones. I thank you and appreciate the content and knowledge you share on your channel. My name is Frank and I’m from NYC. And I’m in the process of starting a t-shirt and cap line. I caught this video on KZfaq in the am while I was working last night. . I must’ve ripped through about 15 videos. Again 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽shit. Thank you. My question is I noticed that on the blue and white trucker you didn’t have any burnt shape around the design from the plantent that usually I get using dark color from youpong SnapBacks. I’ve used the pads and even lower the temp and pressure. I use Easy Weed stretch by Siser. Any tips on that or if it’s worth making a video on this subject. I know I’m not the only one that has come into this temporary challenge. Again Big Bro. I’ve learned a lot from your content and if I can take anything away from it besides the jewels you drop is the authenticity and consistency from your grind. Stay up !!!

if your getting discoloration its probably from your heat. double check your temp with a laser thermometer. get an accurate reading. back off on your pressure and you can use a teflon sheet too. im not sure easy weed stretch is needed on a hat like this because it doesnt need to stretch. so the settings for that HTV might be too much for the hat.

Thank you for the feedback. I think I figured it out. Your Yupoong trucker cap has cotton in the buck rum. The classic SnapBack has 80% acrylic and 20% wool that is what’s giving me that shiny stain from the cap press no matter what vinyl I use. On the light colors I can get away with it though. Do you get a shine when you press hats??? I can’t figure out how the stop it. I tried different cover sheets. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

no. i pressed that Aloha hat with the pineapple. no creasing no discoloration. the only thing i can think of is use a teflon sheet. but im not sure whats causing that for you.

Is it possible to use the heat press on the side or on the back of the hat?! On the net part of of it?! The directly heat on it does not desintegra the net ?!

i dont think the mesh can hold up against the heat. it might melt it. i've never tried it, but thats my thoughts on it.

I've press hats before and I get that press crease on the top of the hat, does this happens when you press hats? My hat press is an HPN signature series label/cap press. Thank you once gain for your videos, take care and God Bless.

no. i pressed that Aloha hat with the Pineapple. no creases no discoloration. try adjusting your pressure and backing it off some.
