Part of the evaluation of men with a low testosterone should always include several blood tests including prolactin.

Had low t got all the bad side effects of that. Starter trt 6 months ago felt better but not perfect some months ago my libido disappeared. I have to check for prolactin and the female hormones hope the docs can help me in germoney they are in level 1 in this country

What other causes could occur for high prolactin in men besides a prolactinoma? Issues with the hypothalamus?

I am also suffering from low testosterone and high prolactine after my pitutary tumor surgery my endocrinologist suggest me dostinex tab...when i take medi my sex drive is fine but when i missed medicine a week or month same problem...how i get rid of this... I'm depressed kindly guide me

What if I have elevated prolactin levels on my blood test (slightly above the upper limit) and I have milky discharge as well but not very visible gynecomastia or any at all (its hard to tell because im above average bodyfat and also have a very muscular chest)? I also did a brain scan and no tumors were found. All of my testosterone levels were within the normal range but the high prolactin and it's symptoms are worrying me because it could be that I have some kind of condition. What could cause something like this? I don't take any kind of medicine or steroids and have never taken before (doctors already asked me about it). I have noticed this problem when I was 19 and it's been 5 years and nothing has changed. My testosterone isn't low but I would want to optimize my test levels since prolactin is certainly not helping it. Been to a few doctors but no help whatsoever.

They put me on AndroGel because my testosterone was so low. Now I'm having trouble getting the gel, and don't want to have to rely on it the rest of my life. Will testosterone levels ever come back up naturally?

What is a low level of Testosterone for 42 year old male? 11.8 is that low? & Prolactin level of 465 & 540 (two separate tests)

I’m assuming you have your numbers switched. 11.8 ng/ml is normal prolactin range (less than 17 ng/ml) And 465 ng/dL is an acceptable testosterone level

I have high prolactin (27) and testosterone of 324 ng/dl. I am 25 yrs old male. Facing low libido and kinda ED. I don’t have brain tumor either but I had Vitamin A toxicity. Any solutions? Pls help me.

I'm a 42 (1 month shy of 43) year old male and my prolactin levels were good at 4.9. If my prolactin is good but Testosterone level is at 233 (which is still low for my age) - would i need to do an MRI for the brain?

If prolactin level is within normal range then no need of mri. Just do Exercises weigh lifting. Eat eggs Dark chocolate, Vitamin D Zinc
