Folitrax 7.5 Tablet (methotrexate = Mostly used to kill cancer cells) is an immunosuppressant. In rheumatoid arthritis, it works by decreasing the activity of the body's immune system. This decreases swelling, reduces pain and stiffness, and improves function. In psoriasis, it works by slowing down the rapid growth of skin cells. Routine blood tests are advised so that your liver can be monitored, as methotrexate in some cases can cause slight liver damage and high liver function. If this occurs, you can be advised to lower the dosage. methotrexate is a steroid drug. These tablets works as a steroid it just kills excess skin cells, it wont stop generation of excess skin cells. that's the reason allopathy dont have permanent solution for it, it is temporary solution. And trying to suppress your immune system may cause adverse effect on kidney, liver & may cause abdominal pain Abdominal pain , Indigestion Loss of appetite , Nausea, Vomiting Tiredness ,Mouth sore. consult your doctor before taking any risk.
