I believe that an act of sexual perversion was done against Noah in his drunken state. I say this because if you think about who the Canaanites were they engaged in beastiality, incest, etc. These spirits reminded and ran rampant in these people so the curse continued. God is so amazing 🔥🔥 I was literally talking to my grandmother about this subject this morning and just read Leviticus 18 last night. New sub here 👋🏼👋🏼

Another reason why Noah cursed Canaan was because when a child is cursed it reflects badly on the parent and therefore Noah cursed Ham’s child as a reflection on Ham.

Uncovering nakedness strictly means, "sleeping with". When you read in Leviticus, it tells you about the forbidden relationships amongst Israelites. No brothers wife (sister in-law), no father's sister (aunt), no brother's daughter (niece) ect....... once the nation grew, he knew you had to put gaps in generations of mating or eventually the the bloodline becomes stale and you will eventually have deformities. Hence, dont mingle with other nations cause they were already doing this. Its all in Leviticus. So actually, he slept with Noah's wife (mom or step-mom, im going with step-mom) producing a child.

It's not far fetch to assume it was exactly that Ham mocked Noah's nakedness. Consider Elisha cursing the young boys for mocking him calling him a baldy (sorry Corey) lol. As for the color of Noah's sons they probably had similar but possibly slightly different skin tones as is also natural in families where one is darker than the other. I dont think it was as drastic as one was dark as black and the other as white as paper and the other in the middle, but very possible the varried in shades and as time went along exposure to sun etc made it a little more drastic.

@dre5773 sure, The Dead Sea Scrolls which contain writings from the book of Enoch. I'm not sure if this info is actually in the book of Enoch or if it is in some other part of the Scrolls but you can verify for yourself. Quote: In the scrolls, there is a description of Noah as a child "the flesh of which was white as snow, and red as a rose; the hair of whose head was white like wool, and long; and whose eyes were beautiful. When he opened them, he illuminated all the house, like the sun". This description leads many Scholars and Researchers to believe that Noah was actually an Albino with wooly hair. Albinos can and do have dark skinned children. In parts of Africa today they have to be protected because, many people fear Albinos and will mame or unalive them for body parts. *p.s I had to change my account because Y.T would not allow me to respond to you under my other account. I hope you receive this response this time. Peace ✌

Brother Corey, thank you SO much for all your research and truth. When it comes to digging for truth concerning "the curse" I believe it is very important to study names. This particular grandson was named in honor of his ancestor, Cain. And we know Cain's claim to fame. From my research, all of Ham's sons were the progenitor of VERY powerful "conquering" nations. But Canaan was given a special name that was to define how his decendents would conduct themselves in the world. Seems to me, Ham was secretly power tripping. According to name meanings, that son was given a name that not only meant to conquer and rule but to literally "overthrow", to cause the conquered to "bow down". Maybe I'm limb walking here, but I believe a huge hidden factor in the story is primarily what kind of woman Ham married. Perhaps there was a lineage in her family tree that linked her loyalty to the kind of people God had to destroy in the flood. And history has proven that an evil wife can turn a man against his own family.

On another note, I think you are not accurate on the question of Cannanite, Zealot. Yes, some versions do say Cannanite but Zealot is a more accurate rendering and is referring to a group of I believe Assines who were resistant to Roman rule and not Cannanites that were cursed. I have not done it but it would be worth reviewing the text in Hebrew to see which is which.

Interesting! Never heard this story before. I have a question (off topic) why are so many pastors (two local ones who I generally highly respect) not preaching ANYTHING about the rapture? Even the pastor of the church we attend regularly (for about a year now) told me he "might change his mind" about his belief in a Pre-Trib rapture. Are pastors so uncertain about the verses? Are they just afraid to be wrong? Afraid of the clapback from those who believe in a post or mid trib rapture? I'm puzzled and concerned!!! THANK YOU!!!

I agree. It’s shocking how close we are to the end, according to the signs in the Bible, and most pastors are not discussing end times. However, I do not agree with a pre-trib rapture. I believe that those who endure to the end will be saved. Similar to how God preserved Noah in the flood, God will preserve His people throughout the tribulation. Yes, many will not make it, many will be martyred , but God didn’t warn us to take us away. He gave us a heads up. And speaking of reading the Bible, if you read the verses people use to support a pre-trib rapture, they really do not. If you read them within context.

Genesis 9: 1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. 21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. 22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. 23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s nakedness. 24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. 25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. 26 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. 27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. God had blessed Noah and his sons; Noah could not curse what God had blessed. Gen 7:7 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. Gen 7:13 In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; The Bible says: Gen 9:18 And the (("SONS")) of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan. Three sons went on to Ark; FOUR SONS CAME OFF THE ARK The writer was telling the reader who the father of the forth son was! son H1121 Strong's numbers_ H&G Dictionary From H1129; a son (as a builder of the family name), in the widest sense (of literal and figurative relationship, ((including "GRANDSON")), subject, nation, quality or condition, etc., Canaan was born during the flood and came off the Ark and was classed as the youngest son of Noah. Gen 9:24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what ((his younger son)) had done unto him. Gen 9:25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. Ham was not Noah's youngest son! He was the second. Shem was the youngest of Noahs sons; Japheth was the elder; Gen 10:21 Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born. Follow the line of Canaan and you know Noah cursed the right person! Gen 10:15 And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth, Gen 10:16 And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite, Gen 10:17 And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite, Gen 10:18 And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad. Gen 10:19 And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha. Looking at Exo 34:7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. The curse of Gen 9:25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan. One might see how Exo.34:7 followed Canaan's children to Sodom & Gomorrah,

Brother Corey - Going by what is written in the bible, it does not tell us that Kenezite is related to Cannanite. The title of Caleb’s father is similar to saying of Elijah the Tishbite in 1 King 17:1. In my view, it’s a distinguishing feature from any other Jephunneh, almost like a surname.

I believe he cursed Canaan simply because Ham didn't cover the nakedness of his Father himself but instead brought dishonor unto him. In the book of Jubilees 7:20 Noah instructs his grandchildren to always cover their nakedness. This is something his sons already knew but one failed to do so by observing his father but not covering him. Ham dishonored his Father Noah and cursed his grandson. Vs. 20 And in the twenty-eighth jubilee Noah began to enjoin upon his sons' sons the ordinances and commandments, and all the judgments that he knew, and he exhorted his sons to observe righteousness, and to cover the shame of their flesh, and to bless their Creator, and honour father and mother, and love their neighbour, and guard their souls from fornication and uncleanness and all iniquity.

Saving the speculation on the reasons for the curse, there must have been a compelling reason to include this scene in the bible. To say it had no impact beyond being mentioned is questionable. The bible is there for us to learn, not to defend it. To argue a point at the same time saying you are not sure is tantamount to adding and twisting the scripture. Very impressive video. My first one of yours. I would add these thoughts and theyre not all mine. Some from the late great Ernest L. Martin. Noah is the new Adam, the new head of the race. He has seniority. He is the chosen of God: to build the ark, etc. He's in charge. Almost like the king. Some would say, the new sons of Elohim. As such, his job is to guard the crown jewels, his and his wife's genitals. In getting drunk, Noah wasnt able to do this duty. Ham, being the sinner that we all are, took advantage of the situation to emasculate his father by sleeping with his mom, thereby hoping to become the new king. Dr. Martin thinks Ham catrated his father. This I don't buy tho it could be said he SOCIALLY castrated him. Ham was already bragging to his brothers so word would soon get around to Noah's subjects with all the accompanying humiliation. But why was Ham's fourth son cursed? How many sons did Noah have? Three. And Ham's social castration of his father prevented him from having a fourth son. So the curse, the payback. Your fourth son, Ham, maybe technically of the royal bloodline, but in reality he will be a lowly servant, serving the real royalty.

That's exactly what it mean Corey. Ham slept with Noah's wife, his own mother! The NASB is incorrect. saying and UNCOVERED himself brings a completely different meaning. We need to stick to the KJV KJV Gen 9:21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. MEANING SOMEONE ELSE UNCOVERED HIM. Ham slept with his mother. He was uncovered, not that he uncovered himself. (IMPORTANT)!! Note: There is no law anywhere that it is a sin to look at your father nakedness. This is an idiom that you must learn before you’re ever going to understand it. SO WHAT IS IT TO UNCOVER YOUR FATHER'S NAKEDNESS. Gen 9:22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. (told what he had done.) Gen 9:23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness. Meaning they did not participate in the same. action as there brother had. Leviticus 18:8 Lev 18:8 The nakedness of thy father's wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father's nakedness. AND HERE IS WHAT. IT MEANS. Lev 20:11 And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. So that you know what uncovering your father's nakedness really means.. This was an incestuous affair. Simply put to uncover your fathers nakedness, mean to sleep with your mother. Noah's wife conceived and Canaan was the off spring thereof. People will tell you in their ignorance of God's word that this is where the African peoples came from. Incest never changes the race of a person.

That is insane, I was just discussing this and this pops up. Like no joke. Literally speaking about it rn and I get this notification. Edit: Thanks be to God. This was almost an overview of what I was saying. With some summative things which I will make sure to keep in mind. Something I do want to mention is that we don't have to say that the curse of Noah to Canaan was actually divinely inspired. Noah could have cursed Canaan knowing he couldn't curse his son but still wanting to curse because of his wrath. The interpretation of understanding it as a sort of Typology or shadow of what would happen to Israel is still on the table.

There is NO sin to accidentally see your father nakedness. It may be a very shocking & embarrassing sight but you have committed no sin. The reason Cannan was cursed is because he was the byproduct of the sin that Ham & his mother did. Incest is a sin and the child was cursed by Noah. Not by God. Noah was simply & rightfully so very upset. With that said, you don’t find that God cursed Cannan but rather you find that Noah cursed Cannan. Noah isn’t God. He was merely a mortal who was found righteous by God. With that said the LIE that the African nation came from that incest seed is ridiculous! Incest does not change the pigment of anyone’s skin even to this day. That’s just ridiculous… God created the ethos and not only said they were good but said they were very good.

Noah couldn’t curse because the Most had already approved Ham and secondly you can’t began to try and figure The Most High there are a lot of info that wasn’t given on purpose so for you to try and use your tiny brain to say what The Most High meant is mind blowing it doesn’t have to make sense to you, who are you??

10:50 - Bro. Corey you may have missed on this part. From one of my Logos app resources (LEXICON of the NEW TESTAMENT BASED ON SEMANTIC DOMAINS): 11.88 ζηλωτήςb, οῦ m; Καναναῖος, ου m (the Aramaic equivalent of ζηλωτήςb and not in any way related to the geographical terms Cana or Canaan): a member of a Jewish nationalistic group seeking independence from Rome-‘zealot, nationalist.’

I agree with you Brother, if I didn’t miss what Brother Corey was saying, Simon the Zealot- Canaanite is not descended from the land of Canaan but in that verse where it speaks about Simon the Zealot or Canaanite the Greek word is different for the land or people of Canaan

First of all Canaan was curse because he was the one who had sex with his Noah wife his grandmother. A Good research reference is a Book call The 1993 Trial on the Curse of Ham, By Wayne Perryman published by Pneuma Life. It a subject most Christian stay away from. But in the 1993 Trial of Ham the author gives 442 scriptural references so the person did his homework. You have to be able to research other books by experts on Hebrew language, customs and traditions to fully understand what written in the Old and New Testament. And a lot times the Christian Scholars are to bias in their approach in rightly dividing the scriptures.

This does not explain why Africa with all its resources still play a lesser role in the world stage . And the curses seem to be in line of what is true today

That's a racist statement that a lot of whites and other groups have utilized to try and justify the mistreatment and enslavement a black people. Ham had three other sons other than Canaan.

The children pay for the sins of the father. Just like we are descendants of Hebrew slaves who disobeyed The Most High and he gave to our oppressors who made us Christians for what our ancestors did . Isaiah 14:21 [21]Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities. Noah was black like everyone in the Bible except for the Roman's and Greeks

In Ezekial 18 God says he will no longer visit the sins of the fathers upon their children, but that everyone is responsible for their own sin Acts 17:46 says that people are all one blood and God does not look at skin color He looks at the heart
