hi i have a 350 modal and every time i put in one of my discs it says can't record to that disc? do you know what discs i need? i'm trying to put all my vhs on to disc

So let's say you have multiple VHS tapes with shorter recordings, but you want compiled all of them onto one DVD, do you have to finalize each recording before popping another VHS tape or does finalizing prevent further VHS to DVD recordings???

Is there a way to rule out the disc being the problem? My dub to DVD button is not responding at all. I had this problem in the past (two different electronics repair shops could not figure out the problem), but at the time I was transferring from camcorder and was able to use the record function as a workaround. Now I'm trying to transfer from VHS to DVD-R and the only option on the disc is DV/D8 dubbing. I can't use the record function for this, correct?

If you see this...I would like to hook the DVD-VR375 to a computer or monitor to view the picture while transfering VHS tapes to the DVD recorder. Is that possible? Or, do you have to hook it up to a TV?

@spencertified ... my biggest issue with this unit is that info bar that appears across the top of the screen. Whenever it detects changes, it comes up to communicate those changes. So, I'll have a DVD with that dang green bar popping in and out every few minutes. Do you happen to know how to turn that off?

Wish we had seen your videos before we tried this. We went by the instructions in the Samsung user manual and apparently missed something because we lost all our precious recordings of our kids. It took it from the VHS and didn’t put anything in the dvd disc. What did you mean when you said the discs could be expired?

It shouldnt have removed the videos from the vhs. Also recordable dvd's expire fairly quickly, they only have a certain life to them.
