I'd love to. Coming from Beach Bunnies.😃They're pretty supportive, and great for all the things I do. But one question...do the two compare?

My current setup is the vegan jack 1 which feels more supportive than my first suede jack 1s but man in a year or two I definitely want to upgrade to jack 2s I love street skating and extra support for big jumps would be amazing

I literally just changed up my Jack setup for outdoor trails/streets, mine are just on Avenger plates. I'll probably just put hundreds of miles on my new ones and then upgrade eventually, the reinforced aspects of the Jack 2 make me interested, since I do 10+ miles at a time for most of my outdoor skates and the miles definitely add up on impact and muscle wear. 👀

Outstanding work, Michelle! A lot of folks who are, ahem, older, still want to keep enjoying their favorite sport/means of locomotion. Letting us keep our ankles working is a big step in the right direction.

Honestly you're so cool hahaa Just the fact that you take into consideration things like implementing an ankle brace design into the skate, or like with Shove and the Thick set shows you care so much and it seems like you're an amazing person :)

Additional ankle support is also good for crunchy old knees. I want to try these for artistic dance.

I'm super excited for my Jack 2 which should be arriving any day now! Before it came out, I originally wanted a Jack 1, but due to supply issues got the Melsore Premium instead. Now that it's time for an upgrade though, I'm so excited to see what's in store!

So excited! Love the black accents as it appeals to inner goth. I haven't found a skate that fits me yet so my only wish is that I could try them on. I have flat wide feet so I feel it's impossible to find a skate that is comfortable

I’m a new skater but if I get good at skating I will definitely invest in the jack boot. I have two pairs of Lolly’s right now and I love them but would enjoy the ankle support.

this is gonna be my first pair of skates. Mostly because I know I love skating but can't go to rinks often. And because I've got incredibly weak ankles and work in shipping, so I can't wreck my ankles because I'll be fired. I can't wait til they arrive.

I had the Neos forever, got new skates attached to sunlites about 6 months ago. The other day I skated in my old set up with the Neos and my feet were definitely feeling the impact! The sunlites are worth it for that alone. :) -Kayla (moxi customer service)

Could you go into more depth on how the brace is integrated and what the actual support is there other than counters? How do the counters in this differ than the 336 ones for example?

My guess is when u get them in custom colors they’re made to order. So they charge for the extra labor instead for just getting one from inventory

I have been skating for 2yrs. I park skate. Can't even drop in, whatever. I'm working on it. I only have a pair of impalas. Because hello, I live in NZ and shipping and international costs like... Wow. Impalas already cost about 150 bucks... I really wanted to get a pair of lollies... Then I wanted jacks... Now I want jack 2s. I promised myself that when I've worn out my impalas I was going to get a really juicy cool pair. I won't have to worry about that for a while, like I said, haven't got the guts to drop in yet. But I will. And then I can start stalling. And when I get that, I wanna do other cool stuff in the bowl. One day I'll do those things. One day (and I'm taking really good care of my skates!) My skates will wear out... Then I can upgrade.

Hi! I am brand new to skating & plan to dance skate. I have an ongoing foot issue so the mention of the extra ankle support on the Jack 2 sounds great. Would the Jack 2 be suitable for this? I just bought your Lollys and changed out the wheels. Also, I'd LOVE to know if you like your foot Dr. I'm local & am looking for a 2nd opinion :)

Would you guys ever make an explanation as to the custom colour price? It’s super high for just a colour change so I’d love to understand why the price is so high? The comparison to the jack 1 customs is double the price which seems extortionate on the surface The stock price is expensive but reasonable then customs makes no sense to me

Prices rose overall. Custom color is an option but we encourage skaters to wear what we make on the production line. Black, True blue and Lilac

the reason its more expensive is because it would be custom. The stock colors are cheaper because they have them on hand :)

I skate almost every day around 8-16 miles. I use the lolly boot but I’m interested if I should switch to something with more support. I’m not aggressively skating, just distance and speed, but I would be interested to know if I should stick with the lolly boot or move to more support since I skate so much.

Zipper- if you are not experiencing any issues, I would say you have the right model :) If you're feeling liek you need inspiration in your feet- I would change your wheels! Changing your wheels opens a whole new world :) Also, change your insoles regularly because they wear out.

Hi I am an inline skater and figure skater and had an ankle injury last year and have a experience quad skating but not much park I skate a LOT so do you think the Jack 1 or 2 would work better for me

Can this boot support an inline frame? I love reidell boots but skate artistic inline. Don’t love the inline skate look but they are substantially stiffer.

These are super stiff and supportive- way more so than the Jack 1. You could purchase a boot only and test it out, although we have not.

I have arthritis and I use impalas daily and my feet bones hurts so much that I have to stop. Will the jack boot 2 help me with minimizing the pain? Edit: oh lord if I plan to have them I'll have to save up money for 2 years😭

Did you say more stable lace loops? I have a Jackson ultama boot a figure skate. The problem is I already broke two lace loops. Would I likely break a Jack2 lace loop?

Yes they are reinforced, so it will take a lot more time and force for them to break. :)

Hi! Does the Jack Boot 2 also come in Black Vegan leather at no additional cost? I noticed that it only applies to the white vegan leather option on your website.

The white vegan is the stock option with no extra charge- the black vegan will be considered a custom color upgrade.

I am a heavier skater (fat skate love!) who skates about 5-6 days a week. I have ambitions of park skating hopefully by the end of the summer. I play derby (and have derby skates) and I use my Lollys for outdoor and attempting new tricks. I love the way my Lollys feel for “fun” skating rather than for sport. They are an absolute dream. I have a bad knee from a torn ACL/meniscus, but do not seem to have weaker ankles. Do you recommend the Jack 1 or 2? Would the Jack 2 help with the higher impact from my heavier body frame? Would the additional support in the ankle also indirectly support my knees?

You can custom order them with cork or leather heels, along with a banana cream lining. Some shops bought customs with the heels and kept them in stock. They're just a custom flavor of boot.

The cork heel offers better impact absorption, however will wear more quickly if skating in wet environments.
