I've been binging on videos of Rabbi wisdom. It's the structure of thought they use to arrive at answers or conclusions....brillant!

Sometimes we need to come to understanding that the answer is sometimes No. We need to have the Emuna that everything that God give's us and doesn't give us is for our own good.

Most people pray for things they don’t deserve or worse - things that will completely destroy them. Stop praying “Hashem please give me”. Start praying “Hashem please bring me closer. Hashem please show me your ways. Hashem please help me learn Torah.”

Brothers and sisters please please pray for my genuine request

The secret perhaps is not to condition or link your prayer to fulfilling your demand. It is accepting that even if what we asked for didn't get realized based to our timing or plans, this means God's plan is something else and we have to blindly believe in this.

I completely agree with @ Rebecca Brezendine

Would have been more reassuring if he just said straight out that sometimes the answer is no and that doesn't mean God doesn't love you. As a parent you know that as much as you love your children you still have to say no when they ask for things...even when they cry for it in a very heartfelt way...because what they are asking for is not good for them/in their best interest.

Maybe you should work more on what God wants from you, and less on what you want from God.
