Sengole was used by Kings only in Chola and Pandia Kingdom. Chilapadiharam the famous. Book exposed the practice of Sengole by the King Pandian during his rein. Sengole was not at all a culture by Tamilian in any commen and disputed Council. This was used only. by Kings to establish Justice. Sengole was misplaced in Parliament. Here no authorized King in a Democratic Country. OK.

Ashok Stambh is also a symbol of a kingdom not democracy but we have adopted it and now it has become the symbol of democracy. It depends upon how you want to portray it.
