The issue with the zero length point is that nothing can occupy a space which is smaller than its wavelength and that holds true for matter and radiation if we take matter as a wavefunction. If it was possible to compress radiation to a point the wavelength would hypothetically become zero which translates to infinite energy. Since everything in the Universe is finite where would the extra energy come from? Besides "infinity" cannot physically exist including the infinitely small. It's a mathematical construct. On a related note, it's absurd to postulate that the Universe consists of an infinite number of points of zero length, width and depth. An infinite number of infinitely small points (zeros) is still zero.

Yes, particles exist as entities in our equations and from these equations we can expect certain particle decays (which is then statistically confirmed to be either a decay of this or that particle). And all we ever statistically evaluate is of course only what we can perceive. Particle physics is among other things a good approximation of how spacetime will behave when we smash lumps of it together in a particle accelerator. Particles are indeed entities in our equations and when we ascribe singular points angular momentum as if they actually where spinning it is very clear that we have no idea what they are. Behaviour of spacetime correspond nicely to a mathematical framework.

I'm very uncomfortable with the idea that underlies the first part of this video. Is there another *possible* model that we haven't considered that doesn't include any of this crap but still explains everything we observe? Increasingly no... but hell... maybe we're not *infinitely* imaginative.

@@marcroube313 the existence of a particle happens in both space and time yea? So if you have two virtual particles, one that exists for a shorter time than the other, wouldn't it technically be a smaller particle?

@@marcroube313 Spacetime is a theory just like space AND time is a theory. You can point your finger in the direction of West, but you cannot point your finger in the direction of the future. Thus, showing space and time are indeed different. Time is just change in the 3rd dimensional geometry. Space with nothing is just space. It isn't until there is mass that time arises. So, time is more of a biproduct of change between mass rather than intertwined as a singular fabric. In fact, there are several public MIT papers written about the theory that space and time are two entirely different things.

Where is all the life? It should be everywhere? Well it is, the Earth may not be the center of the Universe but what if it were? What if we were able to pull out far enough to realize that it is? As the Universe expands the energy created by this expansion is forced into the center all the way down to the smallest point. Now at that point there are many different intelligent life forms all so advance that they work together without any argument, that's the 🧬 lifeforms thats missing, but they aren't missing just living on the molecular level, we are astro beings, what if we are the top 🐕? and buying and creating Sports Cars out of planets is what we do now . I think once we learn enough we will just stop, and start heading back in.
