Yeah, so are the Dark Trainers amusingly. All of them have some kind of Dark story, but are genuinely good people if you get to know them (except Nanu, who takes the Dark type the other way as he's a police officer but is too lethargic to do his job well). Funnily enough, it's the Fairy (and formerly Psychic) types who were protrayed as the "nice to look at, but really malicious". All the way up to Lacey, who despite seeming nice and loving cute stuff, is the most discriminate against you as she feels since you're a foreign student, you shouldn't be able to join and stands by wishing you weren't here cause it "makes her uncomfortable". Amarys is just a stickler for the rules but doesn't have personal feelings against you. Just found it was undocumented what to do when a student is foreign and used her best judgement based on the rules at the time.

Zororark is surprisingly bad. Team Preview diminishes it's gimmick, and has mediocre stats otherwise.

I love it so much. But his gimick doesn’t matter when he can’t do anything because of how low all his stats are.

Zoroark may be a glass cannon, but I find the true power of dark types lies in their canon abilities. Zoroark, Darkrai, Yveltal are some of the most powerful Pokemon in their respective series and/or movies because they have special dangerous abilities, namely controlling the senses of surrounding living things (illusions), causing nightmares and hallucinations, and death respectively. So I would respect any of these as the strongest dark type in the Pokedex and anime. Competitive battling is not everything.

Poor Eevees, they all have really solid highest stats (except poor Flareon...RIP, but physical fire types are somewhat uncommon), but because they're pretty one trick, they're kind of easy to play around. Still excellent for casual players to form a team around.

I always try to figure out how to catch legendaries, on the first/2nd run, as such my line-up are usually underlvl, so having such Pokemon that's tough against any Pokemon including legendaries is great, so I can just focus on lvl-ing it and doesn't need to bother raise other Pokemons, that's advantageous against targetted Pokemons.

Spiritomb is untiered and sableye is nu in singles. In doubles Both are below 1% usage For defensive typing having resistances and immunities is more important than not having weaknesses, or else this would be the goat defensive type combo instead of stuff like flying/electric flying/ground fairy/water

Fairies kind of got rid of their niche. they're now weak to fairy types which are pretty strong in general. Before they were balanced around having no weaknesses by having less than stellar stats, but similar to Electrics with Magnet rise or levitate, super effective hits aren't always necessary. See the Rampardos theorem video from False Swipe gaming for why. Though the CPU loved using them in Battle Revolution cause they figured most players don't know how to deal with them.
