Lan Zhan was the first kid to not only, seemingly, dislike him, but to give him hardly any reaction at all. To a charismatic brat like WWX that's *fascinating* and something to mess around with. Hence, why he'd go out of his way to push Lan Zhan's buttons. He just wanted him to like him, and had no idea why Lan Zhan had such a large stick up his a$$.
