Hi, I am non smoker, 50 and healthy and diagnosed w stage 4 adenocarcinoma nsclc w metastatic brain cancer. My Dr's at Mary Greely hospital in Iowa are wonderful to have at my side thru this fight. I am on lorlatinib w minimal side effects and 2 of 3 brain tumors don't show and lung mass down 60% in 3 mo.! I am back to running with my wife and up to 6mi so far. Never give up hope, know God has it planned and be humble, accepting and never resentful, grow from it. God Bless, from central Iowa

My father was a smoker. Was alk. positive diagnosed stage 4( metastatic ) on Dec 23, 2021.Was on ceritinib. But cancer spread to brain. Pet scan showed cancer clear below neck. Passed away Jan 29, 2023. Do u think we could have done something better . ... I'm asking so I can tell someone if anyone may need in future....

@@arunkumar-ur8wz hi, just so sorry to hear that. I am not sure about doing something different. All I know, I was in dire situation and we attacked these brain tumors with lorlatinib because it goes thru the brain barrier. We also did targeted radiation on the tumors. I'm not familiar w other chemo treatments
