Fun fact, in some "elemental circles," there's a fifth element - Metal. Or wood, but for Dr. Doom here, it looks like it's metal. Sometimes, however, it's something else - Spirit. Which obviously isn't literal in Doom's case, but spirit certainly seems to be something he has in spades. Probably not the makers' intentions, but interesting to think about.

The ultimate Spider-Man comics are the best

The native universe Miles Morales from 616 is actually a totally separate character and a villain, he's also very different from ultimate Miles. The reason 1610 Miles Morales is in 616 now is just because Molecule Man used the control he had over the secret wars merged universe to put him into the main marvel universe with his family all alive again once that event ended. (I believe his mom was killed by the 2nd Ultimate Venom, maybe some others died too) That's my understanding of it, basically the main universe was changed to "Give the illusion" he's always been from 616 even though he's not and he knows it. Meanwhile the original 1610 universe was thrown into Chaos hence why Maker Reed Richards is still trying to take over 616. So yeah, basically there's the explanation with Miles and his connection to the Ultimate Universe.

Honestly most of my love of the Ultimate FF is nostalgia, I was picking this up and Ultimate Spidey as a kid when it was released in the early 2000s, but as an adult and a Ff fan the Ultimate FF, is definitely hit or miss for me, its neat having a more modern interpretation of these characters and the more interesting ways they use their powers, there are just certain aspects that don't jive well for me. However its cool reading the entire run up to Reed becoming the Maker, it feels like something that looking back then is built up nicely. Great stuff

I wonder if Miles Morales went to something similar with Flash in Flashpoint where his mind was slowly being rewritten with the memories of the Flash of that alternate universe and now Miles Morales has assimilated the memories of the regular Miles from Earth-616 simply because, everyone forgot about the Ultimate universe I guess, and tbh other media had done Justice to Miles' character so now Marvel can Present their own Miles as a character who always existed in their mainline comics for those discovering Spider-Man from other media, I realized this has nothing to do with the Fantastic 4.

Jonathan Hickman's ultimate series from 2011 though short, is really good. I can't recommend it enough.

I really like how the military had to come in and save F4, it really grounds these OP characters, and it's a shame it was only because it was made in 2004 and they wouldn't do that today simply because the military is not the respected establishment it was 2 decades ago, and there is something wrong with that sentiment on its own.
