Thanks for this video. I am from India and not many people know about yu gi oh here. When I was a kid (2012 I think) I was looking to new pc card games and found Yu gi oh power of chaos - fell in love with it. Slowly as the time pass I replayed the game, watched the anime, played the mobile and now playing in Yu gi oh Master Duel. I would love to play it with real cards some day

I recommend everyone to learn and play Magic: The Gathering. It's much easier to understand and much slower-paced than Yu-Gi-Oh! and extremely fun, so learning it would give a new insight into the YGO game itself.

My question is when the Konami version of the card game was released in 1999 was it played with the same rules we play today or did it use the same rules as in the early video games (like in Duel Monsters 1998 for the GameBoy which I am currently playing)? Have the rules always been the same in real life Yugioh?

They were the same rules as we have, but there were some slight changes at the very start that I'll cover eventually.

I played yugioh until the link format,most of my decks were unique.goblin atk force deck w/3 copies of final atk orders,kuriboh deck w/final,direct atk deck w/copies of gravity bind & level limit area B,& a deck of only normal monsters

If Yu-Gi-Oh! Does get a more faithful Anime Adaptation, it wouldn't be all that great, since many changes were made for the better for the Studio Gallop adaptation. For example, Seto Kaiba is a fairly stock villain in the Manga. Whereas in Duel Monsters, he's a complex character with a great arc that goes through to the Anime's conclusion.
