You might think but you really don't know unless you are there EVERYDAY! I go to Performing Arts school and it crazy. Loads of crazy weird but fun people. Nothing like a "normal" high school. Though I think that ever high school is VERY different.

coming from a kid who goes to a stem school its so weird to see people with life in their eyes edit: i love my school so so much and so do my friends but the stem program is really in depth so we have a shitload of homework over really groundbreaking concepts. a lot of my friends love school we just work ourselves to death

@@obvigrace personally, i absolutely love mine, i wouldn't choose anywhere else to be! i am really interested in computer science and astrophysics and a bunch of other nerdy shit though. the only thing that sucks is the amount of homework, but my therapist said that i'm the type of person who needs a lot of heavy things to think about or else ill go insane with boredom so i guess it works out

I go to a jr.high/high school, we get Mondays off, I hate a lot of the teachers, but everybody always brings out the best of everybody else(at least for my grade). Today the elementary water main pipes broke, so everybody got out early. While we were waiting for the buses, a kid started playing country roads, and everybody started to sing along, it was hilarious.

Mine is a bit different now that I think about it. We have different performing arts majors. i’m a musical theatre major! and then we have something called juries which is rly scary and we basically get judged for stuff and there’s different criteria and it’s at the end of each semester. as a freshman rn my arts classes are theatre history which is like shakespeare and stuff, acting, and musical theatre!

Tiffany Hoefener don’t worry about your audition, performing arts high schools are looking for potential, so even if you aren’t perfect yet, you may still get accepted! Also if they give you any advice or tips make sure you do it, because they are also looking to see how coachable you are.

This vlog was super interesting to watch because I go to an art school but I’m not in a performing arts program (I draw and stuffff) and I’ve always wondered what they do in those classes!!

I go to a performing arts school and today was our holiday showcase where we all get out of class most of the day to watch our fellow students mess around on stage. Dancers/singers/actors/instrumentalists all out on a fun show lol. Our drum line plays in the hallway between classes. Dancers run down the hallway still in their pointe shoes. The art strand is covered in paint or ink at all times. It’s a good life 😂 (I’m instrumental strand 🎻)

I went to a performing arts high school too! I don’t really miss it though. The people there were pretty toxic. Although it was so cool because we could go off campus for lunch, and there were 50+ restaurants and eatery’s near us. Chipotle across the street, Starbucks next to the chipotle, Dunn bros, subway, jimmy johns, 3 different sushi places, 3 different pizza places, McDonald’s, firehouse subs, a bubble tea place, Leeann chin, etc. it was so nice having so many options. My personal favorite option was the convenient store right next to chipotle. Also, there were sky ways going to a bunch of different places, which was so nice as well. In Minnesota it gets cold, so it was helpful walking through the skyways to get to our school. We were in a down town area, so that made it more fun in general.

I go to performing arts school, but you could only focus on one subject and mini subjects that are related. Like I'm a vocal major, so I take musical theater and 2 periods of choir. It's like what I imagine college to be lol. We also have block scheduling.

mine is different. it's 6-12 so middle school (6,7,8) you get one major (you can audition for multiple but youd have to pick only one) and you can double major is high school if you want. your major is your a day elective and you get to pick one for b day
