Today I visited the 2nd largest Hindu temple in the world- BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham. I got to try some authentic Indian food, walk barefoot inside, and look at the architecture that had taken millions of hours to carve.

The largest Hindu temple is in Cambodia. The ankorwat temple, in Indonesia, Vietnam, loas there are also big big ancient Hindu temple. And don't forget the Nepal and Sri Lanka. In Pakistan too but those are in very bad shape 😢 .... Bcz Hindus in Pakistan has no rights

the temple is TOO ornate. it eventually gives you a headache if you stare at it too long. yes, it is a marvel to witness and I recommend it 100% but I wouldn't rank it's beauty as high as some other architecture I've seen in Washington DC, Rome and Paris.

Well it's a temple and not actually being made to please someone's eyes. In Hinduism , temple is a place where you actually sit and just talk with your neighbours and all . In Hinduism , temple is not just a place for worship
