Some advice to any fellow travellers:
I had a very positive experience sailing for the first time but unfortunately, it isn't the case for everyone as some people have bad intentions, there are sexual predators out there and people can sometimes find themselves in potentially dangerous situations. So please take your safety precautions when travelling: ask questions, use your common sense and trust your instincts! If going sailing, especially alone, always do your research to assess if the boat, captain, and crew are safe, reliable and a happy match. Also, I recommend always telling someone you trust: who you’re sailing with, how long you might be away and your location if you know you might go off the grid for a while. I’m including resources and links to websites, groups and sailing communities where you can find blacklisted captains, find more information and meet other travellers. Go on, cross the Atlantic, by the looks of it you gonna love it. My wife and I have been living on a Polynesian style catamaran for almost 27 years now. One of these days we will get off it but not quite yet. Love your videos

This is my dream... I have spent 5 years in Safmarine as axdeck cadet 2no fgo but failed by .5% so stopped. Desperately miss tye sea. Now a highly accomplished guitarist singer as well.

I vote to come back to the boat and cross the Atlantic, and take us with you, PLEASE!!!! on a side note: it will also qualify as a different adventure since you will have more crew and the dynamic will be different, just do it... Oh and great video.

A trans Atlantic crossing on a monohull is.not done that often, let alone on the type of vessel your on at the moment . So my advice is to go for it , don't look back take the opportunity. If you enjoy the company on that boat by all means go for the Atlantic crossing, seem like a fun boat to travel on and you'll not regret the experience, but another option i'd recommend is to get some time on some other boats as well, to broaden your sailing experience, every boat has it's own unique character, and who knows one day you may even get your own boat 🤞🏻
