Hope the zip or chain of suitcase did not get broken with the heavy pressure. I wonder how you can think to travel Greece in this Pandemic situation that to also for one month. I first discovered you through your Ukraine vlogs and was touched by your in depth coverage of everyday life in the smaller towns, the less glamorous ones. Your portrayal of the people hit home for me. I'm American but had the great luck to marry a Polish girl from Warsaw. We now have a place on Wyzwolenia in Savior Square, in my mind one of the most beautiful city places on the planet. You are very gifted, beautiful and intelligent. How many times did you wash or sanitize your hands from start to in your room in Greece? A lot of people traveling on airplanes no worries! Helloooo Alina! It is SO good to know you made it! I was starting to worry a little because you hadn’t posted for a bit, until I spotted the pic of you in front of the Parthenon on Instagram. Crazy thought of you being detained by customs for having a fever or carrying in an arsenal of “spy cameras”, lol! It’s a time change of 8 hours between Greece and Midwest USA, so when I’m going to bed, you are nearly waking up. Enjoyed the video today, familiar scenes of “airport life” - maybe a little too familiar and typical. I thank God for that one night I was allowed into the Admirals Club in Newark during a snowstorm. Slept in a chair. Anyway, stay safe, rest, sunscreen, and know that we love you. Your adoring YT community.

I was in Greece a few months. Travel tip...go to the Acropolis on a weekday when it immediately opens at the west entrance. You might possibly be the only one there...I was!

Hope you have safe travels. I had just arrived on the island of Crete from the Middle East end of March when the Greek government locked everything down so I flew back to Alberta. Looking forward to returning to travel hopefully soon. Like you probably returning to Greece to continue travel there.

I'm going to Kiev in two weeks, and I just finished all my preparations. Then I came across this video, not knowing it was yours. What a shock it was for me, to see a lady smashing down her suitcase like that! Because over packing is something I always do, going to Ukraine. And when I over pack, there's not enough room, to bring back all the souvenirs I want to. So now, instead of flying Air Canada, I'm going on Turkish Airlines. The former, only allows one checked; bag, the ladder, two. And I'm surprised how empty the airport was. I went back and forth through there, last year, and the year before. Thanks again, for another informative video.

Fresh yogurt and fresh fruit are said to ease the symptoms of coronavirus and Greece seems to have great them, too. as a Torontonian, I wish I discovered your channel sooner! Can't wait to follow your adventures in Greece, good luck and stay healthy! My family is from a village in northern greece, I would highly recommend visiting Thessaloniki, as well as the many towns in the Macedonia region. If it becomes safe, I would also recommend to see the country of North Macedonia; the towns of Ohrid & Bitola are beautiful.

Alina loved your video. I had a question...so I am a Canadian Citizen and I was wondering if entry into Greece is based on physical location for the last 14 days or nationality? Several websites have stated ‘permanent resident’ or ‘nationality’ on their government site. I was very confused as a I will not be flying into Greece from Canada. In the passenger locating form...do they require you to state the country you are flying out from ?

It's both from my understanding. Every place it all depends on the border guard you get, that's why it's best to have a surefire yes of getting in by making sure your nationality is allowed in and then you are following the rules that apply to the country you are coming from. So for example I am Canadian and was going from Greece to Bulgaria; Canadians are allowed into Bulgaria without testing and Greeks are allowed into Bulgaria without testing, so I was all good to go. Now for example if I was coming into Bulgaria from neighboring Macedonia, I would need testing because that is the rules for anyone coming from Macedonia. Hope that makes sense.
