I have owed and driven both Bmw m2 comp and CS. Bottom line- I decided to sell the Bmw competition within a month because the car was plain not as fun as the CS. For people saying oh CS IS NOT 20k more than comp- you don't know what driving dynamics mean bottom line. For eg - the steering itself is just so much superior to m2 competition which was my biggest grudge. Jayem in his car reviews say the same. NOW I also own a manual gt3 touring and I still ask myself which is more fun car. Do you guys get what I am trying to say here. Not only I feel it's more fun that 718 cayma Gt4 it actually is also as much fun as the gt3 touring engine. I am not talking about performance. Fun is a different currency and it's damn fast and she dances

Weird, I have never hit the I drive on my manual m2 cs- not sure what people are doing to do that. Yes, the shifter doesn’t feel as nice as say even an S2k, but I forgot about it real quick and the manual is the ultimate compliment to this throwback car

GT4 he is a sharper, Chris Byrd, better track car. The CS is a more fun every day car. Especially once you put a decent exhaust on it. Also, with a tune, the CS becomes just stupid fast.

I understand not every owner wants too modify, but complaining about the sound after buying an M2CS is like complaining about a steak you ordered well done. You dont buy a sports car (especially S55 motor) and not put an exhaust on it. I have an OG M2 and crave the power from this car, but I get to at least have a good sounding motor. AC schnitzer exhaust on my car screams, and in a week itll be De-catted.

My M2 CS has the 405 horsepower engine not the 444 HP engine as advertised. BMW's official documentation (MCO/MSO) for my car shows that it came with the 405 HP engine. I contacted BMW North America on April 19,2021 about the horsepower discrepancy. They refuse to address my concerns.

If you don’t like the GT350R, you will not like GT4. And they are pretty similar in that kind of dynamic. Both are better cars of the enthusiasts overall though. I own all three.

My twin brother has the M2 CS. I have a GT350. For the money sorry the Gt350 is more enjoyable to drive and I know this term is overused but “special”. To me getting the Shelby was a no brainer.

As nice as this is it's over-priced. You're talking 25 grand over Comp and that's listed. After Exclusiveity and markup (West Coast Only probably) And I just don't agree with that 25 markup for a carbon Roof hood and difuser bits, 20 or so more HP and carbon interior oh and carbon brakes. Don't understand why at 100 grand you don't get a HUD. But in any case this variant will probably hold value the best of the 2 series. And why DCT that's a Fail should have been Manual, I'd almost say the manual is going to hold resell value better then the DCT (History Shows us this and I don't see why that would change, I just don't see the guy 5 years from now who is looking for the DCT version of this ). This is the only fail issue on this car it should have been Manual not a Automatic DCT even if the DCT is faster and even if you break the transmission because at the end of the day resell value is still going to be better with the Manual... At 100k you're getting really close to alot of other cars that I'd personally rather have.

The G80 looks amazing. The grill will grow on people.
