The latest generation BMW X5 is here and its packed with luxury and technology features! Fortunately the kidney grilles on the X5 have not reached the absurd size they have on the X7 and 7 series. This is a fully loaded xDrive50i model, and it is absolutely the best luxury SUV for under $100k. In all honesty, and I'm speaking for myself, I wouldn't get a V8 on any car that is not specifically a performance car. Getting a X5 50i is a bit pointless to me. I'm not hating, I respect people's choices. Fuel economy is one, and the other is actual performance. A X5 50i is slower than actual performance SUVs. And is very expensive, might as well spend the extra to get the real deal. I would get the X5 40i and save money and just enjoy the luxury blast and not the wannabe sport performance part. That's just me like I said.

I own a 2017 X5 and even it's nicer than the trackhawk we cross shopped. Getting the new X7 and X5M after we close on our new home this year.

They are since 2012-2014. The people that complain about reliability brought some buy here pay here high mileage and are suffering the consequences. My partner and I have owned 4 brand new ones with no issues. So 🤷🏿‍♂️

@@mdh8623 I think you should. I brought a 2014 BMW 328i sport and loved it. They're plenty fast and very fuel efficient. I've met ppl with over 80k miles without issue. Also, the cute service tech at BMW told me that a lot of BMWs are more reliable now days because BMW doesn't push the turbos as hard as they used to with psi.
