As far as I understand it is slut shaming because he made an inappropriate workplace comment on another person's dress, specifically making her look bad and undermining her authority in front of those who were working under her. Though he apologised at the time, it doesn't actually 1. Remove the transgression, and 2. Make it ok to bring it up in an inappropriate manner once again at a later time. In that sense it qualifies as slut shaming. Jimmy obviously doesn't agree with that characterization which is why Kyle didn't wish to discuss it with him as that seems to be a line both of them would not budge on. If how one dresses is a form of communication, which I believe it is which is the very reason I personally am in favour of people having freedom to dress in unconventional ways if they choose because that is a form of communication and people should have the right to communicate, but if a comment can be inappropriate because of what it conveys, then it makes sense that a way of dressing can be inappropriate too. Is it inappropriate that Dore found Ana sexy or inappropriate that he communicated it?
