I was a Seabee for 20 years as a UT best thing I ever did in life.

As a CE-2 I liked being on the Line crew both in 133 and in PWD Rota.

You did not mention headquarters company made up of fleet rates. Example: gunnersmate, cooks, medical, pencil pushers, supply, laundry, barbers, and on it goes.

The one thing that they don't tell you, is if you for example, that your rate might be full and you need to score an 85% on your test to make the next grade, when other rates may not have many people so they will pass you at 75% on your test score to go from say, E-4 to E-5. Am I right?

"Rate" actually refers to an enlisted sailor's rank (e.g., Petty Officer 3rd Class), while "rating" refers to the sailor's job (e.g., builder - BU).

This guy can’t be a Seabee. A poor representation for a E4. Must be an Army Corp. Of Engineers plant. To forget a BU, which is the main element of a MCB is unforgivable.
