Ayyyyy we've made it to the finale and it did not disappoint. Thank you to everyone who has watched our reactions. We are looking forward to starting a new series so look forward to that! All that being said, what did I just watch? A couple of people were really coming out the woodwork trying to get their screen time.

i'd recommend that since you finished this season now, you should watch nadine and jinyoung: unfinished story posted on her mom's channel (i'm pretty sure)!! i think you guys didn't see that much happening between them but reacting to that would probably give you an insight in why their pairing became a fan favorite in an instant !! nadine was dex's second choice throughout the entirety of the season but as soon as they left the island they got even closer and said they might update us one day on their relationship. also seo eun and yoong jae are actually engaged right now and they are the only couple who stayed together after the show. se jun and so e were cute but after the show they said they saw each other like siblings lol. but overall i really liked rewatching the second season with you guys, made me look foward to monday's for the first time in my life😭😭!!!

Seulki did the right thing & humbled jinyoung , she chose someone who respected her & her feelings rather than someone who was trying to play hard to get ...jinyoung fell hard for seulki but he took her feelings for granted, that's why even in an interview 1 year after the show ended he said he wasn't over seulki & that he still thinks about her...

You're definitely not the only one who found her explanation weird😭 Young Jae and Seo Eun were the cutest, loved them✨. Also I find it kinda crazy how my girl Se Jeong didn't get with anyone at all😭imo she was the most attractive girl there Nadine is such a sweetheart, I'm sure she'll find someone right for her someday, Han Bin too Dongwoo-💀.

Taina, your analysis was spot on. My mouth dropped when you said Seul-ki was going to pick Jong-woo the minute Jin-young said he hadn't made his decision. When it came down to writing down her choice before they all went to their spots, she ultimately went with the person that she knew was going to pick her rather than endure the potential humiliation of picking a guy who didn't pick her. Jin-young made a huge mistake in playing coy. And yeah, it threw us off the first time we saw the show when Seul-ki said that she went with someone who likes her rather than someone she likes. That was a huge shock. I still stand by my original view that Jong-woo is a stalker. But I also look back to the original question of whether it's a cultural thing. It looks like a lot of Koreans (including the hosts) saw Jong-woo as the protagonist, while a lot of us folks from the Western world saw his behaviour as creepy. Maybe all those k-dramas make people admire his persistence. Either way, he was still simping and stalking. It paid off in the end because he definitely presented himself as someone who would 100% pick her, while she was never 100% certain of Jin-young's intentions. I don't know if you guys googled the fate of the participants now, but it did seem that Yoong-jae and Seo-eun are still going strong, and they were the most public about their relationship. I suspect it's because they're not at all involved in acting or in any aspect of the entertainment industry, unlike So-e. I believe it was Jong-woo himself who said that Seul-ki pretty much dumped him very shortly after the show was done. Also, it seems that Se-jun and So-e did "hang out" together a fair bit, but then he made a public statement about her being like a dong-saeng ("little sibling") - despite them being close, they are more like siblings. I suspect he's only saying that because she's an actress, and they are actually seeing each other on the down-low. Anyway, you guys can google everyone and decide for yourself. Anyway, I hope you guys go backwards again to season 1. It's a little... less refined, but still a lot of fun.

I think you guys would also really enjoy Heart Signal or Love Catcher. Heart Signal for pure dating show and Love Catcher for dating show with a lil twist for money. And since you guys like Dex a lot i think you guys could also check out Bloody Game. He's a contestant for the show, prior to being on single's inferno. That's where i know him from so i was really shocked to see him on single's inferno lol. But it's more of a survival show like big brother/survivor type of show but was inspired by Parasite the movie for the setting

To put it in science terms, Dex was low accuracy high precision while Jong-Woo was high accuracy low precision. I would love it if y’all completed the series and do season 1 where it all started. As far as Singles Inferno lore, there was a Dex-like figure in season one that really put this show on the map and still has a large following.
