Table room is the worst thing to happen to Chuck E. Cheese

We should make a petition to remove the table room and add the animatronics back. Keep the dance floor, But BRING BACK THE BOTS!

One thing I might try do sometime is try to send out a letter to CEC Entertainment HQ, telling them that they don’t need to be like other restaurants, being unique stands you out from others and makes you good.

This is why I am so appriciative of folks like you bringing the OG experience to us to enjoy since the animatronics have been dying. It hurts to see so much hard work being treated like trash, I love the detail and love poured into the old shows. I just don't understand why you would waste them like this. Just... Reading about how the old animatronics just got trashed immediately after their run or just left to rot in some locations (not unlike what happened to the Rockafire :( ) it just makes me so sad. The CEC animatronics deserved better. Animatronic shows deserve better. All of them.

If programmed right, I think the Studio C bot can be eye candy to watch, but of course in recent times, all of the programming is just: mouth head turn lower arm movement head tilt body turn eyelids and sometimes ears it looks so lifeless and robotic now

Well one thing I remember as a child during avenger era, even that fell apart often. I remember seeing cool/avenger Chuck’s ears getting loose and dangling from the head often.

You’re right about the carelessness of the costume character employees. One time at the Eagle Rock location, the live show began and Chuck didn’t even come out.

I’m already writing a 2D animated Chuck E. Cheese movie, & I’ll be happy to share it with the corp, & I hope they’ll like it. In case they do, they’ll probably team up with WARNER BROS FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT since they’re celebrating 100 years next year, or maybe Universal Cartoon Studios since they done wonderful animation back in the 90s to the 2000s. Remember those 10 minute showtapes of animatronic and puppet shows were characters would sing covers of parodies and existing songs and the banter in between shows those were so good back in the 2000's and 2010's, yeah cuz that's gone now since Fall of 2014 there just strictly puppet shows, the banter is gone now and Jasper is part of the reason the old showtape segments were so good compared to now, but that's just my take to the segments nowadays

Bro I went to my local 2.0 for an entire hour and no shows were being played and no kids were at that location, thats enough to take down the dance floor and put back the animatronics.

as someone who works at a 2.0 cec, the kinetic energy is gone, I have to constantly teach people how the cards work, the shows are just background music now, most of the managers don't care, the trampoline costs $15-$20, they won't even let me do live shows on the dance floor where they should be, since Northridge is close if I ever get a complaint about the band I let them know about northridge, oh, and did I mention I can't even finish or even do birthday shows now because 1. the kids end up swarming me as the is now no stage to protect me, and 2. my handlers want to get it over with so they always try to rush me through things, they sometimes deny me from doing live shows even. 2.0 was never a good idea, I hate having to watch a brand I love deteriorate and become pretty much youtube kids content.

Honestly, CEC's problem is cheap, cheap, cheap. They're so fixated on saving money that the experience is laughable now. Little to know ambience in the gameroom. Very bright lighting and some of the most boring, cheap game selections... kids aren't impressed with cheap games anymore. The older games were much more creative and fun. Looking at games like Sidewinder, Jambo Safari, Brave Firefighters, Jurassic Park, YoYo Bop, etc. New games suck, plain and simple... The pizza is very, very hit and miss. But most of the time it's so hard it literally cuts my mouth. The showroom is so bright, you can't even see most of the lighting. Not to mention the audio is usually barely audible, and anything other than a Alpha or Beta 32 just looks cheap and unimpressive. Not to mention they had been cheapening the Alphas for years. Reduced movement programming, console removal, robocolor removal, removal of some of the extra scenery, removal of blue screen, removal of gameroom show monitors, using one feed for all the monitors instead of separated feeds like before, removing the extra Alpha decor... And then the stages being installed in 2.0 look cheap and bland. There isn't ANY lighting. If it's supposed to be a performance, Chuck E. Ought to have some lights shining on him when he performs otherwise it's just background noise in a very bright "table room". Honestly, CEC isn't good at anything in today's time. It makes me sad because I have fond memories of the golden age of CEC in the early 2000s - 2013. If they keep this up, they'll run themselves out of business. Without going back to thier roots, they're honestly a really shitty pizza place. And that's all.

It’s a shame that some of the arcades at CEC might go away soon, and eventually they can get replaced to new arcades which I totally understand. Like for example, H2Overdrive stays for a while until they get replaced by Rabbids Hollywood. Such a shame. 😔

1:54 Studio C is awesome so what if Chucky is 16m instead of 32m it’s still advance! I love Alpha, Beta, Cappa, and Circles of lights. Plus sometimes night show theme isn’t needed. The 2014 and onward puppets are awesome! I grew up with those puppets including rockstar Chuck! And yes the 3 stage characters are reskins if the rock afire explosion it still doesn’t matter, if rockstar is still around, 2.0 existing, avenger ain’t around, studio is now 16m, no showroom walls or anything else, Chuck E.
